LT278/ 7µA Max, Dua and Quad, Singe Suppy, Precision Op Amps DESCRIPTION The LT 278 is a micropower dua op amp in a surface mount standard 8-pin configuration, the is a micropower quad op amp offered in a surface mount 4-pin package. Both devices are optimized for singe suppy operation at 5. Specifi cations are aso provided at ±5 suppy. The extremey ow suppy current is combined with true precision specifications: offset votage is μ and offset current is 5pA. Both offset parameters have ow drift with temperature. The.5pA P-P current noise and picoampere offset current permit the use the megohm eve source resistors without introducing serious errors. otage noise, at.9μ P-P, is remarkaby ow considering the ow suppy current. The LT278/ can be operated from a singe suppy (as ow as one ithium-ce or two NiCd batteries). The input range goes beow ground. The a-npn output stage swings to within a few miivots of ground whie sinking current. No power consuming pu down resistors are needed. For surface mount appications where three times higher suppy current is acceptabe, the micropower LT77 singe, LT278 dua and LT279 quad are recommended. The LT77/LT278/LT279 have signifi canty higher bandwidth, sew rate, ower votage noise and better output drive capabiity. For appications requiring DIP packages refer to the LT78/LT79.
