Catalgue Curse Descriptin Curse Cde: SS 23 Curse Title: CONTEMPORARY WORLD Curse Descriptin: This curse intrduces students t the cntemprary wrld by examining the multifaceted phenmenn f glbalizatin. Using the varius disciplines f the scial sciences, it examines the ecnmic, scial, plitical, technlgical, and ther transfrmatins that have created an increasing awareness f the intercnnectedness f peples and places arund the glbe. T this end, the curse prvides an verview f the varius debates in glbal gvernance, develpment, and sustainability. Beynd expsing the student t the wrld utside the Philippines, it seeks t inculcate a sense f glbal citizenship and glbal ethical respnsibility.
