The JSSE serves applied scientists, engineers, plicy makers and safety advcates with a platfrm t develp, prmte and crdinate the science, technlgy and practice f space safety. The jurnal has a distinguished Editrial Bard with extensive qualificatins, ensuring that the jurnal maintains high scientific and technical standards and has a brad internatinal cverage. 13 SPACE SAFETY MAGAZINE The Space Safety Magazine (SSM) is a quarterly print magazine and a daily news website, jintly published by the Internatinal Assciatin fr Advancement f Space Safety (IAASS) and by the Internatinal Space Safety Fundatin (ISSF). The Space Safety Magazine aim is t infrm and educate aerspace engineers and managers n general space safety matters but als t attract the brader audience f technical curius peple. 14 EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS Space safety educatin is an imprtant accident preventin cntributr, but space safety design and risks are tpics nt generally taught at clleges and universities. The IAASS has supprted the intrductin f the first missin safety undergraduate curse at USC (University f Suthern Califrnia), and it is wrking n the launch f a web-based Certificate Prgram. Prfessinal space safety training, essentially in the frm f n-the-jb training, is available nly at sme majr natinal industries and rganizatins.
