The use of a i-lie charge coverter is recommeded to covert the measuremet sigal to a lowimpedace voltage for log distace trasmissio. For 288 ºC to 650 ºC operatig eviromets, PCB offers a rage of both sigle eded output (measuremet output as a sigal ad groud) ad differetial output (measuremet output as a plus ad mius sigal) sesors. The former ted to be smaller ad more suitable for short term testig eeds, while the latter are more appropriate for log term moitorig applicatios. For these demadig situatios, IMI Sesors offers two styles of high temperature idustrial vibratio sesors. A variety of ICP piezoelectric idustrial accelerometers are available with high temperature HT optio, which exteds their usable rage to 163 C. This optio replaces their stadard, iteral sigal coditioig circuitry with circuitry specifically desiged ad tested to reliably withstad elevated temperatures. These accelerometers, though equipped with the HT optio, will operate i the same maer ad with the same cable, data collectio ad sigal coditioig equipmet as stadard, ICP idustrial accelerometers. For extreme, high temperature requiremets, charge output accelerometers are recommeded. Desiged to withstad temperatures to 649 C, charge output accelerometers do ot cotai iteral sigal coditioig circuits which impose temperature limits o stadard piezoelectric ICP accelerometers. However, sice there is o sigal coditioig circuitry withi charge output accelerometers, alterative cable ad sigal coditioig equipmet are required.
