It is placed beside the patiet s bed ad coected to the i-house urse call system. As soo as the perso leaves the bed ad steps oto the aremat, a sigal is triggered via the urse call system. This allows the persoel o duty to establish at ay time of the day or ight, whe ad where a patiet got out of bed. As a result, aremat cotributes to providig assistace immediately, thus sigificatly reducig the risk of falls or the dager of patiet waderig. The uiversal circuit board ca be adapted to your eeds by alterig the switch positios. The wirig o the uiversal circuit board must ot be removed. The coectios are protected agaist wrog polarity of iput voltage. Variable resistace R The uiversal circuit board has two coector sockets for commercially-available wired resistors. A call resistor that is specifically for the call system for lie moitorig ca be istalled i this. The coectig wirig should have a diameter betwee 0.38 ad 0.56 mm. The socket spacig should be 14 mm. N cotact The N (ormally closed) cotact optio that ca be selected o the uiversal PB is a trasistor circuit that operates accordig to the quiescet curret priciple. If the aremat is ot actuated, a quiescet curret flows through the N cotact as a result of the exterally applied voltage. If the residet / patiet actuates the aremat by steppig o it, this N cotact is opeed. This ca be detected by a urse call system operatig accordig to the quiescet curret priciple that moitors the curret flow.
