2 Performance Inspired Design Concepts Classroom Pods The existing school combines most of its classrooms into pods of 350 students. The new addition will also look to create a pod environment. Main Street Corridor Tying the new addition to the Main Street corridor will be important for students walking between classes as well as staff and facility navigating the building. Ancillary Use Spaces Connecting the new ancillary spaces with their corresponding uses in the existing building will be a priority. Temporary Classrooms Currently portables are being used on campus to accommodate overflow. Even more portables are expected during construction. Accomodations must be made near the Main Street for these overflow classrooms. Bus Loop While very functional, the bus loop is taking up prime real estate near the rest of the building.
