2 93% OF 2015 USF GRADUATES are employed or enrolled in graduate school 45% of USF undergraduate students ARE FROM FIRST-GENERATION OR LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS MAJORITY OF OUR GRADUATES STAY in Northeast Indiana DEAR UNIVERSITY OF SAINT FRANCIS FRIEND, Welcome to the opening of the only university in the center of beautiful downtown Fort Wayne. We are excited as students and faculty settle into these new spaces to engage in innovative programs designed to prepare future community leaders. They will interact in an environment like none before it. Industry-specific labs and classrooms designed for the learning style of today s students support collaborative instruction for a technical and fast-paced world. This has been accomplished through the investment of many city leaders, who could see the benefit of high-quality education in Fort Wayne s cultural and commercial hub; arts and business partners who have pledged to become part of our students education through internships, mentoring and instruction; economic development leaders, who saw the regional impact of a downtown campus; our talented faculty; and the Fort Wayne community, which for decades has embraced the University of Saint Francis as an educator and trusted friend and servant to the community. But we value the contributions of our students most highly. They will soon become part of the diverse fabric of USF Downtown, as they make the priceless investment of time and talent to improve their lives and our world. Their trust is the standard we bear as we move ahead with programs of impact and relevance. We invite you to share our excitement. Visit downtown and tour our facilities. You will see energy and hope for a bright tomorrow as we develop future professionals. Their vistas are seemingly endless. We thank God for our many blessings as we continue on the path to which He has led us. In service and His love, Sister M. Elise Kriss, OSF University of Saint Francis President

BUSINESS SCHOOL USF has been a part of the fabric of our community since opening the Spring Street Fort Wayne campus in When the opportunity presented itself to offer classes in the booming downtown area through the creation of a new location, we jumped at the chance! The center of Fort Wayne has become a focal point for culture and business in Northeast Indiana, and the new USF Downtown will put 300 students, faculty and staff right in the middle of it all. 4 USF Business Center USF s META Program The Media Entrepreneurship Training in the Arts (META) program is designed around project-based learning concepts where people and ideas come together in dynamic ways. Students work in teams according to various disciplines they are likely to find in the workplace. Their future employers will appreciate that each USF graduate they hire can work in a team setting and collaborate on project outcomes. META community capstone projects can be a defining experience for USF students admitted to this exclusive program.
5 Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership Relocating the USF business school adds vibrancy to downtown Fort Wayne. The campus proximity improves connections between our students and the business community, creating more opportunities for internships and mentoring. With this collaboration, we expect future Fort Wayne entrepreneurs and executives to develop from the downtown campus. Fortunately, these start-up enterprises historically remain close to their initial inception points. From these seeds grow new family businesses and quality careers.
