Next meeting is 19 Feb 2015 January 2015 Emergency Services Cmmittee N Meeting scheduled 17 January Hur Search and Rescue Class by TEMA (Hsted in Sequatchie Cunty fr surrunding areas) Ttal f abut 35 persnnel were present fr this training cnducted at the Sequatchie Cunty Rescue Squad Building. Class cncluded with a practical exercise using maps and data frm a real Search and Rescue frm Ccke Cunty Tennessee. 28, 29, 30 Feb 2015 E911 Winter Wrkshp held at the Clarin in Gatlinburg, TN. Wrked with 911 Bard and Directr t get ne f the dispatcher cst cvered s she culd attend this event. Attached is a list f the dispatcher classes and a descriptin f what each class will cver. Tiffany Phillips will be attending. 2 February 2015 Sequatchie Cunty 911 Bard Meeting at 911 center 3 March 2015 EMA Day n the Hill On Tuesday March 3, 2015 Ricky Graves has secured a rm in the War Memrial Building Cnference rm 103. Will meet there at Sam t receive handuts and discuss the day. Tentatively Gvernr Haslam and Cmmissiner Purkey scheduled t meet arund 830. This will give all Cunty EMA Directrs a chance t talk with ur lcal Representatives abut EMA issues and needs with in each cunty March 2015 TEMA will cnduct a 2 and Y2 date Search and Rescue class, this will include abut a day and half class rm and ne day ut in the Field testing what each student has learned frm the class. > EMA Infrmatin Items Wrking FEMA 4189-DR-TN this is ur Presidential Declaratin fr the strm n June 10t h. Child Care Facility Emergency Preparedness Checks Sequatchie Cunty has 5 listings that meet this requirement needing the check list cmpleted. TCA amendment, Public Chapter N. 216, Senate Bill N. 1302, Huse Bill N 1162 (Passed 13 April 2013) One Child Care Facility has cntacted me and has cmpleted the Required Items. Cmmunicatins upgrade fr Cunty wide radi system. Received qute frm Mtrla f $220, this wuld include upgrading ur VHF repeaters and als purchase 50 mbile Radis and 60 Handheld Radis. TVA Grant This Grant is fr Sequatchie Cunty t supprt TVA as a Hst Cunty.
