8 NMEA2000 Starter Kit SRP 60 NMEA2000 has now become the defacto standard throughout the marine eectronics industry for interconnection of devices. It uses a simpe backbone (or trunk) structure with requires terminators at each end of the cabing and then each device can be spurred off using a drop cabe. The bus aso requires power. Waterproof connectors are used throughout for maximun reiabiity and it makes for an easy pug n pay instaation.
