Cick the Update A Transmitter button and foow the screen prompts. 10. Open the Software and Connect to the System in Onine Mode. 11. Load / Save CearOne Defaut Presets. 1. Perform an RF Scan (Note the open channes. These wi be used in the next step.). 13. Edit the TX Parameters (Set RF Channes, Preamp Gain, etc.). 14. Edit Additiona Settings (Tour Mode, Redundancy, Ethernet, etc.). 15. Sync the Transmitters: (See beow). 4 Syncing DIALOG 0 Transmitters with Receiver: How to sync transmitters with the receiver: 1. Power on the receiver.. Simutaneousy press the two buttons on the bottom of the corresponding receiver modue. SYNCING shows on the receiver OLED. a. To sync a Boundary Mic or Podium Mic: Press and hod the Mute button and then power on the transmitter. b. To sync a Handhed or Betpack: Press and hod the S button and then power on the transmitter. Both the transmitter and receiver OLED wi read SYNC PASS when the sync is successfu. 3. Repeat the procedure if the receiver dispay shows SYNC FAIL. 4. Check audio. The transmitter and receiver are assigned a new, random AES 18-bit encryption key every time they are synced.

Using the CearOne DIALOG 0 Software: Editing Transmitter Parameters: The easiest and most intuitive way to set the parameters of CearOne transmitters and receivers is with CearOne DIALOG 0 Software. Downoad the software from Load the Software onto a computer running Windows 7 or above (3 or 64-bit). Connect to the receiver via the USB connection ocated on the back pane. There is a micro-usb to USB cabe provided with the receiver. Use this cabe to power the receiver and to connect it with a computer to configure the system. Open The Channe Edit Window: 1. Open CearOne Remote and seect ONLINE.. The [Cick to Edit] function opens the edit window of the channe you wish to edit. 3. Seect the functions you want to edit and enter the parameter (The various functions are described beow). Cick [OK] to save the changes and cose the Channe Edit window. 4. If the mic was previousy synced, the settings wi be appied automaticay. If the mic has not previousy been synced, you wi notice that the [Need to Sync] aert is it. This indicates that one or more parameters are in queue in the receiver ready to be downoaded and impemented with the next transmitter Sync of the channe. Refer to the Software User Manua for detaied instructions on how to use the software and a of it s features. A) Cick to Edit the channe s parameters. B) Seect new parameter vaues, cick Appy and Cose. C) The Transmitter wi appy the new settings automaticay. You wi not have to re-sync the transmitter. 5

CearOne DIALOG 0 Software provides the foowing functions: Fie: The fie menu aows the current receiver settings to be saved to a fie on your computer or for a previousy saved fie on your computer to be recaed to the receiver. Settings: A. Redundancy: Audio redundancy mode aows two receiver sots and two transmitters to be used on one audio source. The audio is seected from the channe with the best audio signa and output on the odd numbered channe. For exampe, if receiver modues 1 and are seected for redundancy, the audio output wi be on channe 1. Redundancy is usefu when audio transmission is critica. B. Receiver OLED Dimming: Set the Receiver OLED Dispay Mode and timer vaue. Defaut = Bright when transmitter is on and dims when transmitter is off. Times out after 1 minute. C. Print Current Settings: Opens print diaog box. D. Set Receiver Name: abe each receiver with a unique name using up to 6 characters. E. Channe Mode: Choose between Wide Band and Narrow Band. Defaut = Wide Band. Wide Band 8ch mode: Uses 4 frequencies spaced widey across the RF band. Pros: Can cause ess interference to WiFi devices that are occupying the same frequencies. Cons: Does not aways take advantage of white spaces between WiFi devices. Narrow Band 16ch mode: Uses 4 frequencies spaced cosey together in the RF band. Pros: Can aow the use of more narrow white spaces between WiFi devices. Cons: Can cause more interference to WiFi devices that are occupying the same frequencies. Wide Band Mode: Narrow Band Mode: 6

RF Scan - RF Pot: Shows the RF strength of each antenna in a CearOne system and shows if there is outside interference. Presets: Saves settings to receiver memory or recas settings from receiver memory. Choose Load SYSDEFAULT for the factory defaut settings. GPIO Setup: This function can mute the microphone based on a GPIO input. Aso, it can te a downstream DSP device if a microphone channe is muted based on a GPIO output. GPIO Setup: The Mute Mode is setup in the Edit Transmitter Window and it is set to either Hard Mute or Logic Mute. In Hard Mute, when either the microphone mute button is pressed or, if a GPIO input tes the microphone channe to mute, then the actua hard anaog output of the receiver is muted. In ogic Mute, ony the GPIO output pin is driven to te a downstream DSP that the channe is muted. The LED Mode is setup in the Edit Transmitter Window The -way LED contro works as foows: A. In norma mode, the GPIO input on the back pane of the receiver is ignored and the muted LED on the microphone foows the mute button on the microphone. B. In -way LED mode, the GPIO input on the back pane of the receiver contros the LED on the microphone. C. The ogic mute GPIO output for downstream DSP muting is independent from the LED muting. LED Mode: Mute Mode: Aert: Gives the user the abiity to set aert conditions, such as, ow battery, battery runtime hours, ow RF signa, and Transmitter turned off. Hep: The About tab contains the system information. 7 Defaut Transmitter Preamp Gain Settings: Transmitter + Last 4 digits of seria Number Defaut Transmitter Preamp Gain BLT XXXX +10 db HH XXXX H18 = 0dB / H13 & H15= +0dB PDM XXXX +10dB BDM XXXX +0dB Key: BLT = Betpack HH = Handhed Mic PDM = Gooseneck Podium Mic BDM = Tabetop Boundary Mic

DIALOG 0 Receiver Front Pane: CearOne DIALOG 0 receiver main-frames hod two, independent, 4-bit digita audio receiver modues. Each modue shares the main-frame s two antennas for fu-diversity. Two receiver main-frames can be daisy-chained together aowing up to 4 channes or up to 6 channes when connected with CONVERGE PRO DSP mixer. Main-frames can be connected via P-Link as a periphera ink for CONVERGE PRO and Beamforming Mic Array. Power is suppied by Micro-USB, P-Link or, Power over Ethernet (PoE). Main-frames have a USB connection for seria monitor and contro. When more than one DIALOG 0 Receiver is used in the same RF space, provided enough RF spectrum is avaiabe without interference, they must be P-Linked together to avoid additiona interference or dropouts. Connect the CAT5e / CAT6 Cabe from the P-Link out of the first Receiver to the P-Link in of the second Receiver. When using a CONVERGE Pro Mixer, a maximum of 3 DIALOG 0 Receivers can be daisy-chained together (provided there is enough RF spectrum avaiabe for 6 channes). Front: Antenna A TNC Connector..
