5 Mulicolor conras sensor Adjusing he swiching hreshold The sensiiviy of conras sensor KRT18B is se via he muliurn poeniomeer. Turning he spindle clockwise increases he sensiiviy of he sensor. The signal on he bar graph is increased. Turning he spindle counerclockwise reduces he sensiiviy of he sensor. The signal on he bar graph is reduced. Adjusmen procedure The descripion is provided using he example of a dark mark on a ligh background. For he case of a ligh mark on a dark background, he erms mark and background simply need o be exchanged. 1.Posiioning he background under he ligh spo. If he bar graph indicaor is o he lef of he middle posiion, urn he muliurn poeniomeer clockwise unil he sensor swiches off (yellow indicaor LED Q1 off). Several full urns may be necessary here. LED Q1 off: Q1 2.Posiioning he mark under he ligh spo. If he bar graph indicaor is o he righ of he middle posiion, urn he muliurn poeniomeer counerclockwise unil he sensor swiches on (yellow indicaor LED Q1 on). Several full urns may be necessary here. LED Q1 on: Q1 3.Swich beween mark and background and wach he bar graph while doing so. 6 Muliurn poeniomeer A removable operaing buon is plugged ino he muliurn poeniomeer a he facory. The seing of he conras sensor can hereby be performed manually wihou he need for a ool. If his is no desired, he operaing buon can be pulled off. A screwdriver is hen needed for he seing. Rear view of sensor wih operaing buon plugged If necessary, loosen hen operaing buon wih a screwdriver Color changeover Conras sensor KRT18B enables simple changeover of he deecion color on he device. This is necessary if he conras beween he mark and he background is no sufficien for reliable deecion wih he se color. Examples for opimum deecion colors: Color of he mark Color of he background Opimum deecion color Black Whie Any Red Whie Green Yellow Whie Blue Green Whie Red Black Red Red Black Green Green Black Blue Blue In general, he opimum deecion color can also be found by selecing he color for he which he larges signal difference is displayed beween mark and background on he bar graph. Press buon C (Color) for 2 7s (LEDs flash in sync wih a frequency of 2Hz) and release. 2 7s Upon release of he buon, he deecion color changes o he nex color (order: green, blue, red) /06
