R Funcional descripion The command value volage is applied o command value inpu eiher direcly or via an exernal command value poeniomeer wih he help of he regulaed + 9V volage from he power supply uni []. The specified ramp ime refers o a command value sep-change of 00% and can be approx. s or 5 s, depending on he seing of a DIL swich ). Here, a command value of 00 % corresponds o a volage of + V. The curren command value can also be filered hrough a low-pass filer ha can be cu in. Curren oupu sage [9] is conrolled via curren regulaor [8]. The clocked acual curren value acs in he solenoid of he valve like a consan curren wih overlaid diher signal. The facory seing of he parameers is as follows (for he adjusmen of parameers, see pages 8 o 0): max. ramp ime = 5 s, biasing curren = 00 ma, max. oupu curren = 800 ma, clock frequency = 00 Hz The amplifier card may only be insalled when disconneced from he power supply! Do no use plugs wih free-wheeling diodes or LED lamps for connecing he solenoids! Measuremens on he card may only be aken wih insrumens R i > 00 kω! Measuring zero (M0) is raised by +9 V as agains 0 V operaing volage and no elecrically isolaed, i.e. 9 V regulaed volage 0 V operaing volage. For his reason, do no connec measuring zero (M0) o 0 V operaing volage! Use relays wih gold-plaed conacs for passing on command values (small volages, small currens)! Always shield command value cables; connec he shield o ground on he card side and leave he oher end open. Connec he card o ground a erminal or 8. If no sysem ground is provided, connec 0 V operaing volage. Recommendaion: Also shield solenoid cables! For solenoid cables of up o 50 m lengh, use cable ype LiYCY.5 mm. For greaer lenghs, please consul us! The disance o aerial lines, radio sources and radar equipmen mus be a leas m! Do no lay solenoid and signal cables near power cables! Due o he charging curren of he smoohing capacior on he card, fuses mus feaure slow-blowing characerisics! Cauion! Noe! When he differenial inpu is used, boh inpus mus always be swiched on or off simulaneously! Elecrical signals (e.g. signal ready for operaion ) brough ou via conrol elecronics mus no be used for swiching safey-relevan machine funcions! Measuremen of conacs (ac) agains 8 (ac). Fuse on he card defecive? 3. Inernal ±9 V operaing volage available on he card?. When he inernal command value poeniomeer is used, is he jumper from 0(ac) o (ac) plugged? 5. Is he exernal poeniomeer properly conneced?. Is he differenial inpu properly conneced? Check: Reference poenial o 30(ac) 0 o +0 V o 8(ac). Is he solenoid properly conneced? When he card is unplugged, a resisance of approx. 0 Ω o 30 Ω or 5 Ω o 8 Ω, depending on he valve, mus be measurable beween conacs ac and 0ac. The addiions o he conac designaions are only valid for ype VT-VSPA-. Noe: The oupu sage shus down in he case of excessive emperaures (e.g. caused by overloading). This faul is signalled by LED "H" going ou! In he even of a cable break of he " o 0 ma" inpu, he signal "ready for operaion" is rese and LED "H" also goes ou. The following is valid from componen series onwards: In he case of a shor-circui or cable break of he solenoid cable, he oupu ready for operaion is swiched and LED "H" flashes a a frequency of 0.5 o Hz as soon as he command value is > % a he same ime.
