4 Laser safey noices Laser class 1 ATTENTION, LASER RADIATION LASER CLASS 1 The device saisfies he requiremens of IEC :2007 (EN :2007) safey regulaions for a produc in laser class 1 as well as he U.S. 21 CFR regulaions wih deviaions corresponding o "Laser Noice No. 50" from June 24h, Adhere o he applicable legal and local regulaions regarding proecion from laser beams. The device mus no be ampered wih and mus no be changed in any way. There are no user-serviceable pars inside he device. Repairs mus only be performed by Leuze elecronic GmbH + Co. KG. General informaion The laser rero-reflecive phooelecric sensors PRKL 3B/ have an opimized ligh beam propagaion in he ypical range of applicaion of 0 1m (no o be confused wih he operaing range, which is 0 3m in combinaion wih a reflecor MTKS 50x50.1). This permis he reliable recogniion of he smalles of pars or he posiioning of objecs wih maximum precision across he enire area. For foil 6, he sensor's side edge mus be aligned parallel o he side edge of he reflecive ape. The sensor is consruced on he basis of he auocollimaion principle, i.e., ligh being ransmied and ligh being received propagae along he same ligh axis. This permis he phooelecric sensor o be insalled direcly behind small holes or diaphragms. The smalles permissible diaphragm diameer for secure funcioning is 3mm. Diaphragm diameer 3mm The achievable resoluion depends significanly on he uni's configuraion. A reconfiguraion following volage inerrupion or swich-off is hus no required. Sandard eaching for average sensor sensiiviy Press each buon unil boh s flash simulaneously. Release each buon. Ready. Afer sandard eaching, he sensor swiches for objecs wih a minimum size of 1mm (see able under "General Informaion"). If boh s flash rapidly afer he eaching even, a eaching error has happened.
