Thi ha led o an increae in he inere in muli-phae ac drive applicaion, ince muli-phae machine offer ome inheren advanage over heir hree-phae counerpar. Major advanage of uing a muli-phae machine inead of a hree-phae machine are higher orque deniy, greaer efficiency, reduced orque pulaion, greaer faul olerance, and reducion in he ruired raing per inverer leg and herefore impler and more reliable power condiioning uipmen.
