Never use this product as a sensing device for personne protection. In case of using sensing devices for personne protection, use products which meet aws and standards, such as OSHA, ANSI or IEC etc., for personne protection appicabe in each region or country. Using in combination with the / series The series does not use the horizonta connectors that are used with the / series. Pease note that horizonta connection cannot be performed using a connector attached cabe. In addition, the optica communication function is not equipped on the series, so it is unabe to perform interference prevention for use with the / series. If using the series together with the / series side-by-side, pease set the same modes together in groups. Mounting <When using a DIN rai> How to mount the ampifier Fit the rear part of the mounting section of the ampifier on a 35 mm.378 in width DIN rai. Press down the rear part of the mounting section of the unit on the 35 mm.378 in width DIN rai and fit the front part of the mounting section to the DIN rai. How to remove the ampifier Push the ampifier forward. ift up the front part of the ampifier to remove it. 35 mm.378 in width DIN rai Note: Take care that if the front part is ifted without pushing the ampifier forward, the hook on the rear portion of the mounting section is ikey to break. <When using screws with washers> Use M3 screws with washers for mounting. The tightening torque shoud be.5 N m or ess. Wiring Make sure that the power suppy is OFF whie adding or removing the ampifiers. Note that if a votage exceeding the reted range is appied, or if an AC power suppy is directy connected, the product may get burnt or damaged. Note that short-circuit of the oad or wrong wiring may burn or damage the product. Do not run the wires together with high-votage ines or power ines, or put them in the same raceway. This can cause mafunction due to induction. Verify that the suppy votage variation is within the rating. If power is suppied from a commercia switching reguator, ensure that the frame ground (F.G.) termina of the power suppy is connected to an actua ground. In case noise generating equipment (switching reguator, inverter motor, etc.) is used in the vicinity of this product, connect the frame ground (F.G.) termina of the equipment to an actua ground. 18 Digita Sensor SERIES 74 PRECAUTIONS FOR PROPER Others Do not use during the initia transient time (.5 sec.) after the power suppy is switched on. Take care that the product is not directy exposed to fuorescent amp from a rapid-starter amp, a high frequency ighting device or sunight etc., as it may affect the sensing performance. This product is suitabe for indoor use ony. Avoid dust, dirt, and steam. Take care that the product does not come in contact with oi, grease, organic sovents, such as thinner, etc., strong acid or akaine.
