2 Adult Pottery MUD MIXERS (AGE 16 +) This class of mixed level students will learn to expand their skills with guided instructions. Demonstrations will include a variety of techniques in coiling, slab, wheel, and surface decorations. Bring a basic tool kit. Class skips September 3rd. 3 Adult Visual THE PAINTER S PALETTE All levels of avid painters welcome! We will use a variety of painting media, including acrylics, gel mediums, oils, watercolor and watercolor pencils. Students will learn some tips and techniques through exercises, but will also have the opportunity to create some more finished works of art. Beginners will learn the basics while intermediate and advanced students will have the chance to tackle a less proficient painting medium or fine tune their technique and learn some new skills from their fellow classmates. There will be a supply fee, but students are welcome to bring their own materials to use if they prefer. Beginner and intermediate level students will learn from the basics, while advanced students will fine tune their skills and techniques. Students are encouraged to bring their own supplies. We will use a wide variety of artistic media including paint (watercolor, acrylics, oils), paper mache and recycled materials (optional), ink, pastels and more. Although there is a small supply fee, students are encouraged to bring their own materials as well. We will work from still life, printed imagery of the student's choice, and weather permitting, students will have the chance to learn about plein air painting by venturing outside with our easels and materials for a class or two.
