2 Monday: Painting Techniques with Sylvia Hewitt $30 pp This is a great way to start your week! Sylvia will guide you in developing your skills across a range of techniques including: charcoal, Pallet knife, Pastels, watercolour, graphite, artist books, printmaking and glazing. Sylvia is friendly and welcoming, and is a great teacher who explains everything really well. Materials are provided so that you can experiment with new techniques and Media without breaking the bank. 3 CLASS SESSION OPTIONS : MONDAY MORNING: NOON MONDAY AFTERNOON MONDAY EVENING: Please book for your preferred session choice, but you can attend an alternative session if necessary, please let us know.

3 Tuesday: Watercolour with Gai Copeman noon (intermediate); $30 pp. Some materials provided Gai Copeman is a well known water-colourist. Gai will introduce you to working in water- colour, covering all the techniques to get the best out of the medium and yourself. From washes, resists, line work to wet on wet, and wet on dry, you will master watercolour techniques and learn the tricks to bring your work to life. Small friendly classes. Tuesday: Art Attack 4 Kids With Sue Tilley These fun classes for kids in year 1-5 teach a wide range of art techniques - drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, printing and more. Kids will develop their skills & creativity while having lots of fun. Friendly experienced teacher, small classes $25 per student - materials provided. Tuesdays: $25 pp materials provided

4 Wednesday evening: Clay Sculpture With Sue Tilley $30pp inc clay. Small firing cost extra 6.00 to 8.00 pm Clay has to be one of the most satisfying mediums These fun hands-on classes will satisfy the creative urge, while instructing the participants in the skills and tricks to successfully create a sculpture which they ll be proud to display. Over the weeks we will cover basic sculpture & clay theory, modelling, joining and handling techniques, Texture and finishing techniques such as glazing, painting, embossing, burnishing etc. These fun classes cover a wide range of art techniques - drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, printing and more. Kids will develop their skills & creativity while having lots of fun. Friendly experienced teachers, small classes $25 per student - materials provided. 5 Thursday: Exploring Mixed Media with Cath Meharry pm Cost: $30pp materials provided. In this class you will extend your drawing and painting techniques by incorporating collage and mixed media, to bring your work to life, adding texture and immediacy. Cath, one of our resident artists, is a delightful teacher with decades of experience, and a very talented artist in her own right. The workshop will take your art to the next level and is suited to all abilities. All materials are supplied, so you can enjoy learning new skills without a big investment in materials. Thursday night: Pen & Wash with Jenny Hyatt 6-8pm Cost: $30pp materials provided. Pen and wash involves using pen to create your drawings, then adding semi-transparent colour with watercolour. The effect is fresh, and can be as detailed or loose as you please. From quick sketches, to detailed artworks, this technique is fun, portable and can create a wide range of effects - perfect for people, creatures, landscapes, architecture, even abstracts. Over the course of classes you will build up a visual diary of techniques which will be a useful reference for your art journey.

6 747 Friday Afternoon: Kick Start your Art with Sylvia Hewitt pm $180pp for 6 week course If you can t paint to save yourself - this is for you! This 6 week course is a hands-on introduction into art. Explore many different mediums such as Charcoal,Pastels, Watercolours, Acrylics, Oils and Mediums etc. This a fun and informative introduction to art in a relaxed friendly studio atmosphere and will give you the chance to try your hand at lots of techniques. Starts 2nd February (50% deposit required on the first class) with the maximum of 8 people. Some materials included & materials list will be supplied.
