Beginners and advanced students learn and paint side by side, reinforcing the basics and building on previous mastery. Students work at their own pace, on the subject matter of their choice (generally from photo references), and may focus on the painting style they prefer; from realism to abstraction. Our award winning professional instructor brings years of teaching experience into the studio, working with all students to ensure success in producing original paintings. If desired, students may request more focused direction from the instructor in the form of homework and special exercises outside of class. Class time always includes individual help and critique at the easel, a short lecture or demo from the instructor for the group, and plenty of hands-on painting time for students. Beginners will appreciate the emphasis on the core painting skills of design, value, color and technique, along with tips and tricks that improve paintings and create a professional look. Professional and advanced painters are challenged to explore their personal painting direction, develop a body of original work and fine tune their skills to move forward in their painting career. Register today to join the exciting atmosphere in the painting studio!
