4 Jelly Roll Rug $70 7 Hours of Instruction Take one Jelly Roll of 40 strips, or combine yardage with one of our Jellybeans (20 strips) and create an amazing oval rug! Instead of in an oval, strips go east to west and create a totally different looking rug. Consider shading your colors from light to dark and back again! Darlene s popular Fibre Art Fridays will be returning to Quilter s Dream in January 2019! Once a month we will meet and take on a new project/technique/fibre arts experiment! Paper Piecing Tea Time Placemats $80 8 Hours of Instruction Learn the basics of paper piecing with a curve thrown in! In the first 2-hour class, you will do all the cutting required for the placemats. In the 2nd (2nd & 3rd at the north store) class you will complete ONE placemat from the pattern Teatime Placemats by Judy Niemeyer Quilting. This includes a curved binding as well! The JANOME FM 725 The FM-725 is a needle felting machine it does not sew, but uses barbed needles to mesh fabrics together. The fibres mingle to create new color and texture combinations that simply can t be achieved with embroidery, appliqué, or any other kind of needlework. Visit our website at: for our class policies and cancellation policy Cattails A Judy Neimeyer Paper Piecing Club! $ hours of instruction Lynette is one of our Paper Piecing gurus, and she s taking on a mega project that you will be so proud to put together! The new Cattails pattern is an update from Judy s earlier Cattails in the Meadow pattern but you will need to purchase the newer pattern, as the two are not compatible. This pattern has standard sized blocks that can be mixed and matched with other blocks. The pattern includes 6 laser cut Stitch-N-Peel appliqué stabilizer sheets for the stems and cattails. Final size is 77 in x 77 in. Paper piecing experience is required to take on this class, as it is NOT a beginner project There are a few weeks between some classes so as to give you a chance to keep caught up! By making one block you ll master the ins and outs of appliqué, and be on your way to a great project. You will work on one block from the Brown Sugar Sampler pattern during class and can either finish it as a wallhanging on its own, or continue to create the entire sampler quilt! Pattern Required. Introducing: WANT TO LEARN WEDNESDAYS! $60 6 hours of instruction Need a quick introduction to paper piecing so that you can work on a larger more complicated pattern in the future? Or are you curious about learning a new technique that you have read about? This is the class for you! Jeanette is offering a 6-hour introduction to paper piecing. In the past few years, Brenda has covered everything from small embroidered wall-hangings with embroidered bindings, to wallets done in the hoop, and an amazing project bag. Taken from the Bernina dealer website, it is sure to challenge you along the way. Then, you 'll advance to a Stitch Connection project called "Let It Snow". Geri is an amazing machine embroider-er, as well as an excellent Fibre Artist and threadplay master. She'll help you take your embroidery projects to new heights! Choose one of FOUR patterns for your project. We will work through color choice, design, fabric selection, collage technique and quilting the final product. This is a GREAT project to use up scraps of all sorts of fabric - texture and design on the piece is used to its advantage. Prepare to have fun! Beginner Sewing Basics $ Hours of Instruction Learn to make a basic garment! Designed for the individual who has never sewn a garment before, this 5- part class is a great introduction to sewing. Learn how to size yourself, select a pattern, choose fabric, cut out a commercial pattern and then get to work making it! Your own sewing machine is required for this class. 10 Threadplay Club $ hours of Instruction This year Geri is promising that you will GET PRO- JECTS DONE! Do you have fibre art, quilt art or quilting projects at home that you just haven t finished because they need a little Threadplay, and you don t know where to start? Geri is a wealth of Threadplay knowledge and she will use this to teach you new techniques and guide you to finishing those projects. OR, start that project that you ve always wanted to do, and THEN learn some Threadplay skills.
