We can teach Scouts, Birthdays, 4-H, Home-Schoolers or other groups ALL Classes are $15.00 each and are at 1:00pm or 6:30pm unless noted. Basic Embroidery Classes Learn a New Technique at each class. Most classes include a 4x4 option. We provide the stabilizer and a design for each class. Come in for supply list, to reserve your spot, and to see our samples. Luggage Tags Have fun creating your own customized luggage tags for your sewing gear. Skill Learned: Free-standing in the hoop, plus adding lettering. Size: 4 x 4 and 5 x 7 options. January 14 th, 1:00pm or 6:30pm Spring Confetti Appliqué on Flour Sack Towels Learn to make a seasonal flour sack towel with a confetti appliqué and added letter. Makes a very quick gift. Skill Learned: Appliqué and adding lettering to a design Size: 5 x 7 or 6 x 10 February 11 th, 1:00pm or 6:30pm Lamp Shade Learn how to embroider a cover for a lampshade. Choose your own design to complement your décor. Check with Brenda to make sure your design will work. Skill Learned: Design placement Size: Varies with your chosen design March 10 th, 1:00pm or 6:30pm Terry Towels Learn to successfully embroider on a terry cloth towel and washcloth. Skill Learned: Embroidery on fabric with nap Size: 5 x 7 (wash cloth corner or center); 5 x 7 or 6 x 10 towel border April 14 th, 1:00 or 6:30 Gift Registry Let your loved ones know to come here for your Birthday or Christmas gift list. 2 Embroidery Club Shadow Work Zipper Bag Did you know you could put in a zipper with your embroidery machine? Join us to make this little bag and learn how. Skill: Putting in a zipper on the embroidery machine, in the hoop. Size: 6 x 10 and 5 x 7 option. January 28 th, 1:00 or 6:30 Easter Extraordinaire Easter Basket, Bowl and Egg Cup Create the cutest Easter centerpiece using a heat moldable fusible interfacing product to help shape the basket. Skill: Using heat moldable fusible interfacing to create a 3-D object. Size: 6 x 10 basket; 5 x 7 bowl; 4 x 4 egg cup. February 25 th, 1:00 or 6:30 Sweet Dreams Baby Lovie Blanket Every baby needs a soft lovie. You can make on with your embroidery machine Skill: Appliqué, using different types of fabric. Size 5 x 5, 6 x 6, 7 x 7, and 8 x 8 sizes available. March 24 th, 1:00pm or 6:30pm Star Spangled Greeter Wall Hanging You will be ready to show your support with a patriotic wall hanging. If you are curious about working with Mylar, this class is for you Skill: Working with Mylar, in the hoop. Size: 6 x 10 hat, also 4 x 4 USA lettering April 28 th, 1:00pm or 6:30pm UFO (Unfinished Objects) Day with Brenda and Tracy Come join the fun and finish up some of the projects you started in class but didn t get finished at home. 3 POTLUCK P.J. PARTY Sewing & Embroidery Join us on a Friday for a fun night of embroidery. We start the night with a potluck meal. Shop Hop Wall Hanging (1 3 panels) Embroider a sewing themed wall hanging for your sewing area. Come to our Friday night Pot Luck party and have fun sewing, eating and socializing. This pattern has options for four sizes. My sample quilt is a Twin, but you can choose whichever size you like. This class is a 4-part class. Date: Feb. 3 rd, 1:00pm or 6:30pm Crazy Patch Placemats PJ Party and Potluck Dinner Back by popular request! Set your table with flare with this set of fun and easy placemats. Door Hanger Pocket Monday February 8th at 6:00pm or Friday February 26 th at 6:00pm Make this pocket hanger for your door so you can put items in that you want to make sure you don t forget.
