3 Standard 1: The RTO prvides quality training and assessment acrss all f its peratins 1.1 The RTO cllects, analyses and acts n relevant data fr cntinuus imprvement f training and assessment. 1.2 Strategies fr training and assessment meet the requirements f the relevant Training Package r accredited curse and are develped in cnsultatin with industry stakehlders. 1.3 Staff, facilities, equipment and training and assessment materials used by the RTO are cnsistent with the requirements f the Training Package r accredited curse and the RTO s wn training and assessment strategies. 1.4 Training and assessment are cnducted by trainers and assessrs wh: a) have the necessary training and assessment cmpetencies as determined by the Natinal Quality Cuncil r its successrs b) have the relevant vcatinal cmpetencies at least t the level being delivered r assessed, and c) cntinue develping their vcatinal and training and assessment cmpetencies t supprt cntinuus imprvements in delivery f the RTO s services. 1.5 Assessment, including Recgnitin f Prir Learning (RPL): a) meets the requirements f the relevant Training Package r accredited curse b) is cnducted in accrdance with the principles f assessment and the rules f evidence c) meets wrkplace and, where relevant, regulatry requirements. The data cllected included quality indicatr data as well as in-huse feedback sheets. The data is analysed and used t imprve training and assessment. Internal audit and mnthly meetings are held t ensure that a cntinuus imprvement apprach is implemented acrss the rganisatin. The rganisatin supplied apprpriate training and assessment strategies fr the fllwing qualificatins: DRT Diplma f Drilling Oil/Gas On Shre DRT20903 Certificate II in Drilling Oil/Gas On Shre MEM20105 Certificate II in Engineering MNM20306 Certificate II in Metalliferrus Mining Operatins (Prcessing) PMA30108 certificate III in Prcess Plant Operatins The training and assessment strategies included pathways, cmpetencies, training and assessment methds, target markets and all ther apprpriate infrmatin. The rganisatin perates its training rganisatin as part f a hlistic cmpany; hence has access t physical, training and human resurces t meet the training and assessment requirements f the qualificatins. All qualificatins except 30497QLD Curse in Operating Cranes, Rigging and Scafflding Equipment and 30496QLD Curse in Operating Ladshifting Equipment are delivered in a team apprach by a trainer with industry currency and the tw assessrs wh hld the apprpriate trainer/ assessr qualificatins. The rganisatin emplys a trainer/assessr wh hlds the apprpriate qualificatins t deliver the Wrkplace Health and Safety qualificatins. The rganisatin has access t sufficient assessment materials t cater fr all assessment requirements f the qualificatins being delivered. The assessment instruments cnsist f written assessments, practical assessment, risk assessments and bservatin checklists. The rganisatin uses the mandated assessment instruments in accrdance with the licensing agreement with Wrkplace Health and Safety fr units f cmpetencies frm the Wrkplace Health and Safety curses. Standard 3: Management systems are respnsive t the needs f clients, staff and stakehlders, and the envirnment in which the RTO perates 3.1 The RTO uses a systematic and cntinuus imprvement apprach t the management f peratins. 3.2 The RTO mnitrs training and/r assessment services prvided n its behalf t ensure that they cmply with all aspects f the AQTF 2007 Essential Standards fr Registratin. 3.3 The RTO manages recrds t ensure their accuracy and integrity. The utcmes f these meetings are used t cntinuusly imprve the management prcesses f the rganisatin t ensure that the rganisatin is respnsive t the needs f its clients, staff and stakehlders. The rganisatin has n plans t partnering with any ther rganisatin at this stage f its peratins.
