She grabs the tote she finished stitching the night before, swings by to gather the girlfriends and they all head to Seven Sisters Quilt Shop to spend the day! Deer Widow Day Sunday November 15 6:00am-6:00pm Seven Sisters doors open at 6:00am Sunday, November 15th, and each customer is greeted at the door with a small keepsake gift, handmade by Seven Sisters and friends. 5 Julia s Journal November/December 2015 Dear Journal, Winter is coming quickly! My Mom bought me a new pair of cute winter boots that I can t wait to wear! Then one day I thought Wait a minute! McKenna doesn t have anything cute and warm to wear. So I made a hat and scarf out of an old wool sweater. When it was done I made a yo-yo and hand stitched it on to the hat. Now McKenna is stylish and warm! I think I will write down the instructions so other kids can make some warm winter things for their dolls, too! Seven Sisters Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup Serves lb Italian Sausage 1 T olive oil In large skillet, brown sausage until cooked through. 1 small onion, diced This will take about 5-7 minutes. Drain off the grease and place 3 cloves garlic, minced sausage on a plate lined with paper towels. 2 red bell peppers, diced 1 bay leaf 1/8 t red pepper flakes 8 cups vegetable broth 2 (15 oz) cans diced tomatoes In large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until tender, 3-4 minutes. Stir in the red peppers, bay leaf, and red pepper flakes. Cook until peppers are soft, about 3 minutes. 1 1/2 c chopped kale 2 c cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen) 1/4 c chopped fresh basil Salt and black pepper to taste Stir in the broth, tomatoes, and kale. Add the cheese tortellini and cook until tortellini is tender, 7-8 minutes. Stir in the fresh basil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the sausage and heat until warm. Remove the bay leaf and serve.

However, there is roadside parking on both the West and North sides of the. Whether you are heading into the quilt shop or the schoolhouse, there is plenty of parking space available in Seven Sister s parking lot. On extra busy days when parking is scarce, don t forget that the Post Office has a public parking lot directly across the road from the quilt shop. Hello Fellow Quilters! None of us know exactly what kind of a Winter we have coming, but we all like to be fully prepared for our favorite winter sport of all quilting of course! We hope you travel very safely this winter and take extra good care of yourself. You may want to keep some extra projects close just in case you get snowed in oh what fun! This year, we plan to stay open during the end of the year with the exception of just a few days. So bring the family in with you when you come and introduce us to your favorites!
