EXECUTIVE SESSION Executive Officer s Reprt Ms. Gre in infrmed the Bard f a new prcess implemented at the directin f the Nevada Department f Public Safety cncerning the receipt f fingerprint cards and related criminal backgrund infrmatin. Ms. Grein als referenced the anticipated start f the 2017 legislative sessin and future effrts t keep the Bard infrmed f legislatin at Bard meetings. E Review f Mnthly Department Statistics Ms. Grein prvided the Bard with an verview f departmental statistics and related effrts fr the mnth f December 2016 as fllws: Licensing Divisin: Received 256 new license applicatins and 508 change applicatins; Issued 172 new licenses; Apprved 79 Financial Reviews; and Prcessed 1,048 inactive and active license renewal applicatins. Cmpliance (C1U) Divisin: Opened 199 cmplaints and clsed 250; Issued 40 Administrative Citatins; Held 8 Disciplinary Hearings; and Clsed 37 Recvery Fund Cases, with apprximately $70,000 being distributed amng 32 hmewners. Criminal (SIU) Divisin:. Opened 163 cmplaints and clsed 1S7 cmplaints; Issued 2 administrative citatins fr unlicensed cntracting, and 16 curt filings; and Recrded 32 misdemeanr cnvictins, 3 grss misdemeanr cnvictins, and 5 felnies during the perid. Additinal Bard Activities:
