2 Page 2 Volume 6, Issue 1 Annie s Quilt By Reproduction Quilts Taught By: Celia Liffrig Saturday March 13th 10:30 to 3:30 $20.00 Class Fee Includes Lunch Kit Cost $ x 76 A beautiful reproduction quilt, circa Stop in and see the gorgeous sample done by Celia! Civil War Tribute BOM Club Come to the cottage on the 4 th Tuesday evening of each month from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and work on your Civil War Tribute blocks. There will be talking, snacking, (and of course some sewing) going on! It s a great way to keep current on these beautiful blocks! When finished this will be a one of a kind heirloom quilt! (If you haven t signed up yet, we still have a few spots left!) *Hannah s Little Quilt Club* Meets at the Cottage on the third Thursday evening of each month from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. This club is currently full, but we will be starting a new session in the fall on a different date. Let us know if you are interested in joining us and making little doll quilts from the book Prairie Children and Their Quilts by Kathleen Tracy. Spring Class Schedule Twist & Shout by Taught By: Melody Brown Wednesday Evenings: March 24th & April 7th 6:00 to 9:00 pm $20.00 Class Fee Includes Pattern 60 x 84 or 86 x 110 A Fun Quilt with lots of possibilities and can be done in flannels or cottons. You will enjoy making the blocks, but the real fun begins when you decide on the quilt layout! Great class for beginners! We will have starter kits available or you can use your own fabric stash. Stop in and See the Sample!! Class Policies: * All Classes must be pre registered for and payment is due at the time of registration. Phone registrations will hold a spot for 48 hours. * You may cancel at least three days prior to the class time and the class fee will be refunded as store credit sorry no cash refunds. * Patterns and supplies are not included in the class fee unless otherwise noted. * With class registrations, receive a 10% discount on all class supplies. Please have all the materials needed for the class before the class begins. This allows for class to start at the scheduled time. We don t want to cut into the class time trying to gather materials. * Classes will be held at the Cottage unless otherwise noted. * Cottage Inspirations reserves the right to cancel any class if the minimum number of students aren t registered three days before the class starts. If we cancel the class your registration fee will be refunded. Stitcher s Gathering Club taught by Sharon Risley Starting March 25 th 1 pm to 4 pm Class Fee Free with Purchase of a Kit Would you like to do one of the great embroidery Block of the Month projects that are so popular at the Cottage, but not sure of your embroidery skills? If so, join Sharon on the 4 th Thursday afternoon of the month starting March 25 th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm for a fun time of stitching embroidery projects. If you are a beginner she will help you learn basic stitches by making small stitchery samplers that can be framed or made into wall hangings. You can also just come and have a good time stitching with your friends, we d love that! Class is free with purchase of kit. Kit cost will vary from $15 $20.

Remembering Adelia Trunk Show April 1st 19th A selection of small quilts inspired by the diary of Adelia Thomas, a 19 year old woman at the outbreak of the civil war. Her journal illustrates how central sewing and quilting were a woman's life during the nineteenth century. Includes period photos and 12 projects. The Book Remembering Adelia by Kathleen Tracy will be available for $24.99 Wind & Willow Baked Potato Soup Mix Morning Sunshine Breakfast Casserole Wind & Willow Baked Potato Soup Mix 4 c. water 4 c. cubed French bread 16 oz. sausage 6 eggs 1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with oil. Add soup mix to water in a 2 qt. saucepan; heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer minutes, stirring often. Set aside to cool. Cook sausage in a medium skillet and crumble. Drain well on paper towels. Pour the bread cubes into the prepared pan. Top with the sausage. Beat the eggs, adding a small amount of the hot potato soup mixture while beating then beat the eggs into the rest of the potato soup and pour over the sausage. Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes; remove foil, top with cheddar cheese and continue to bake until cheese is melted and casserole is set in the middle, approximately minutes. Serves 6
