1 AMY BAUGHMAN SEW & QUILT FALL SCHEDULE Greetings everyone, my favorite season is just around the corner. The only thing I don t like is sun setting so much earlier. We have some good news, in the next few weeks we will be receiving all 480 colors of Robison Anton Poly Embroidery threads. You will never need another color. Filtec bobbins in lots of colors, perfect for your towels and monograms. OESD designs, oh my those 3D pumpkins and snowmen, we can t wait for them to get here. Mettler 60 weight cotton threads, perfect for piecing, serging, quilting and winding your bobbins for embroidery, what more can one thread do? We have also added lots of new fabrics, flannels perfect for Honey s rag quilt. Giraffes that are yummy and bright colors to brighten a weary day. We are excited to add a new embroidery club here at Amy s. It is for Brother and Janome machines purchased from us. The new Amy s Army Embroidery Club is exclusive to our owners. It is free and you do not have to bring your machines. OESD will be doing the digitizing for these 12 exciting in the hoop projects. Jan M will be doing a Embroidery Class and a ITH class ( in the hoop) class, these are open to everyone. But heres the caveat, if you purchase a new Viking Epic, they will not be able to attend classes. You will get your embroidery lessons from your Viking Dealer. We are sorry to announce this, but it is difficult for us to know everything about everything. We are super excited about the new DIME software, it is so easy, stop in and check it out. In 2016 we will be offering: Club Education with Debra Jones, March 9th and 10th Applique Oasis, April 8th, 9th and 10th, The educator is amazing ( ok, its me) and you will be experiencing the new Janome embroidery only and the Skyline S7 and the Artistic Cutters. 2 We are very please to have so many classes to offer you. In fairness to our teachers, it is important that we know how many students are coming. We ask you please to pre-pay for the classes. Some classes may have a kit fee and or supply list. The more you know, the more you sew. Amy SEPTEMBER PINEAPPLE QUILT, September 8th and 22nd at 1:00pm Did you always love this pattern but, it was just too complicated? Jan H. will show you an easier method that will have you amazed at how simple this pattern really is. FEE $12.50 plus Ruler Required Mystery Night, September 11, 6 to 10 pm. Jean and Amy will walk you through step by step in making the Mystery project. It is not a quilt top this time but a Magical way of making anything quilted or lined. You will be working with Cotton Velveteen. $45 includes Kit and Dinner. You will need to bring basic sewing supplies. Red, Green, or White thread is needed and a size 14 needle. Very limited seating available. Holiday Extravaganza, Anita Goodesign Workshop. September 15th at 10:30 or 1:30 or 6:00 This come watch embroidery demo and video series is a very nice collection of embroidery designs. Each attendee packet includes a 90 plus page full color tutorial book with step by step instructions for each project. Plus a CD containing all embroidery formats for 14 different projects This Demo is ONLY $20. You must pre-pay, the packet is your if you attend or not. Please call ahead to reserve your packet Rag Quilt with Honey, Wednesday, September 16th at 1pm OR September 26th at 12:30 Check out the new collections of Woolies Flannel. You think they are wool, they look like wool but they are the softest, coziest flannel ever. This is a great beginner class. Fee $18. plus pattern.

WE HAVE A NEW BOOK THAT HAS THE CENTER OF EACH BLOCK BEING A STACK AND WHACK WITH THE OTHER TECHNIQUES FORMING AROUND THEM. STOP IN AND SEE THE SAMPLE. Amy will be cutting up letters for the cutest Gobble shirt, showing off her favorite Rice Krispie Treats, Easy peezy Leaf Table Runner, and a Halloween embroidery design. Just to name a few. Friday, September 25th at 1:30 or 6:00 This is the first session. there will be more to follow. Jan will give you the rest of the dates. You will need to purchase the design pack and $18 per session. Limited seating. Crystal Snowflake Sweatshirt with Embroidery. September 30th, Wednesday. 10:30 or 6:00 This class with Amy will focus on using your Cameo, Scan n Cut or Artistic Edge to cut out the Crystal template. Amy will also show you how to do a lettuce hem on your sewing machines. This is a bring your cutter and laptop ( if needed) to class. You can fuse them to your shirt in class or take the design home and fuse. You must have bought your cutter from Amy. Class Fee is $20 with crystals. or $30 if you need all supplies.

4 OCTOBER October 12th at 1:00 or 6:00 Fabric Swap Leaf Table Runner. Louise did it before and she is doing it again. Having everyone share fabric to create these lovely leaves. FEE $18 plus pattern I guess all those years of teaching pre-schoolers to share, she can get adult women to share their fabrics, she has super powers. Sassy Quilter, What are they? a great group of ladies that have been taking Jan Hutchisons Classes. They choose the projects they want to make, and Jan makes it happen. The Good News! Anyone with basic skills can join in. Sassy Quilter, Paper Pieced Tree, October 13th. This is a very accurate piecing method. The tree is available in several sizes and you get enough paper for two trees. Fee $12 plus pattern HONEY S RAG QUILT-SATURDAY OCTOBER 17 TH. 12:30 P.M. See September Description. Sassy Quilters, Hunters Star, October 27th and November 10th. Jan Hutchison has found a great way to make this Star Quilt easy. Come see the sample and you will fall in love like we did. Fee $25.00 plus supplies.

5 Embroidery Bash with Anita Goodesign and Brother Dream Machines and Persona s. We will be rocking the threads for this two day hands on event. Jen will be back to create the cutest items in the hoop for your sewing room. We include a lite breakfast and lunch for the two days. October 31 and November 1st. YOU MUST register and pay to hold your space. We only sell 100 seats, so don t miss out. They are bringing all the samples and design packs that UPS can handle. 6 Snow Bound Stitch Camp JANUARY 8 TH THROUGH JANUARY 10 TH. Yep it snows every year, but we don t care. It is so beautiful to be snowed in at the Family Resource Camp in their large Timber House with all those window, looking over acres of snow. We stay up late, sleep in the cabins (optional) This year we will be using both the upstairs and downstairs. Why you ask? Amy is offering a Cut, Stitch and Quilt project. Using your Scan n Cut, Artistic Edge or Cameo. Amy will have the project ready and kitted for you to get started. This session will be on Saturday, so you can work on your own projects Friday and Sunday. Prices to be announced. More fun than you should have with your sewing machine.
