2 7. Block of the Month # Let It Snow Join us as we meet each month for a lecture and demonstration of each block and border. It s the perfect way to learn sewing and quilting using more than 20 techniques. All sewing will be done at home, but every question will be answered and all problems solved in our class time together. Completely beginner friendly, yet stunning for all skill levels. March - Scrap Fusion Learn to create dimensional objects and shapes with scraps using different values and colors. April - DIY Stamps & Stencils Learn how to craft unique stamps and stencils and ways to enhance them on fabric. Make your art pieces wholly original by using your own stamped motifs. Written and visual instructions for how to make the play mat will be explained step by step. Participants will take home fabric requirements for the project and the pattern which will include cargo and passenger cars, engine, clouds, sun and tree with leaves. The project is fun to make and does not require any sophisticated sewing skills. Welcome aboard! Thursday, Mar Appliquilt Delight # Using just one die for the amazing Accuquilt Go! Big electric cutter, we will create small wall hangings with different animals: owls, frogs and squirrels. The options of more animals cut with the same die will be introduced in class. The technique is simple, pre-fused fabric is cut with the cutter and pressed onto the background. The complete design should be machine stitched in place! There will be a demo of how to do the machine appliqué for those who are not familiar with this technique. Very creative, fast and fun! 8 Jackman s Fabrics provides sewing machines for all students to use during classroom instruction. Class Policy Fabrics used in our classes must be purchased at Jackman s. Please support us. Total class fee is required at time of enrollment, which must be at least 7 days in advance. No refunds will be given unless Jackman s cancels the class. If you cancel at least 10 days in advance, you will be given store credit, which may be used for another class or merchandise. You will be called only if a class is cancelled, so mark your calendar, and come prepared to learn and have fun! A Discount Card and a supply list will be given to you upon enrollment.
