Beginning Quilting # An express quilting class done in only 2 weeks! Learn to rotary cut and machine piece a block. Next we will add borders, layer with batting and learn to baste. We will finish with machine quilting and binding the edges. Join us as we meet quarterly to create adorable machine appliquéd mini quilts for each of the calendar months. We will use a series of patterns designed by Susan Marth (Suzn Quilts). Heather Gunter Four 3-hour sessions. $25.00 each Third Tuesday beginning January 16 April 17 July 17 October Block of the Month # A Perfect Day Join us as we meet each month for a lecture and demonstration of each block and border. It s the perfect way to learn sewing and quilting using more than 20 techniques. All sewing will be done at home, but every question will be answered and all problems solved in our class time together. Completely beginner friendly, yet stunning for all skill levels. We will break all the rules to create two coordinating bags using Joan Hawley s Becca Bag pattern and her unique One Zip technique - cut a basic zipper apart, take off the pull, and then stitch one side of the zipper tape. We ll put the zipper ends back together to finish this cute bag. Class Policy Fabrics used in our classes must be purchased at Jackman s. Please support us. Total class fee is required at time of enrollment, which must be at least 7 days in advance. No refunds will be given unless Jackman s cancels the class. If you cancel at least 10 days in advance, you will be given store credit, which may be used for another class or merchandise. You will be called only if a class is cancelled, so mark your calendar, and come prepared to learn and have fun! A Discount Card and a supply list will be given to you upon enrollment.
