3 Specification Introduction Our Royae Door system has been specificay designed as a thermay efficient repacement for existing stee doors. The system consists of a comprehensive range of auminium extrusions, each designed to provide the structura performance and weathering characteristics required for modern window systems. The design takes inspiration from traditiona stee doors, with features such as sim sight-ines and the attractive aesthetic contours of its stepped profies. The system can produce both singe and doube doors and where fixed ventiation is required an additiona head iner bar and sot ventiator can be fitted. In addition to the main auminium extrusions a comprehensive range of accessories are avaiabe incuding gaskets, fat astraga bars, operating handes, mutipoint ocks, butt hinges, restrictors and a variety of other accessories, avaiabe in a range of coours. Therma Performance The Royae Door system has been designed to be thermay efficient with a highy advanced poyamide therma break. In conjunction with the correct gass specification the system has been designed to aid compiance with the atest therma requirements of the current buiding reguations. For enhanced therma performance, there are other gass options avaiabe. Gazing The Royae Door system is gazed with mm doube gazed units set against extruded gaskets that are retained in the gasket grooves in the window sections. Gazing is hed secure by means of gazing beads and an interna wedge gasket, but tape gazing is aso avaiabe where required. Materias Auminium profies are extruded from auminum aoy 6060 T6 compying with the recommendations of BS EN / BS EN 755 parts 1 to 9 Finishes The range of auminium sections can be provided in powder organic coat to BS 6496 or BS EN A range of aternative finishes are aso avaiabe.
