4 Kestrel Aluminium Systems TB Commercial Pivot Doors - Product Specification - PAS24: 2012 TB COMMERCIAL PIVOT DOORS: TB Commercial Pivot Doors are designed for use as stand alone units or use in conjunction with the Thermal Framing System. Doors are pivoted with a finger guard hinge jamb only, and are suitable for all high traffic areas. The twin brush seal, woolpile weatherstripping together with an co-ordinated suite of profiles, covers the majority of entrance door requirements. Materials: Aluminium profiles are extruded from alloy 6060/6063 T6 complying with the recommendations of BS EN : 2008 Finishes: Mill finish Etched and anodised to BS 3987: 1991 ( ) - Silver AA25 or colours on request. Polyester Powder coat paint to BS EN :2004. See separate list for standard colour range available. Construction: Concealed extruded aluminium mechanical corner jointing cleats and midrail brackets are used. Hardware: Door hardware is available to construct pivot doors with finger-guard door jamb stiles only. Double and single door sets have passed the requirements of PAS24: 2012 with specialist lock/lock cylinders Kestrel Aluminium Systems Limited PAS24: 2012 Specification Maximum door leaf size = 1100mm w x 2400mm h Single Door: KAS448 AR Sentinel M - 30mm backset, KAS449 AR 3 Star 90mm profile cylinder KAS572 COC Double Door: KAS448 AR Sentinel M - 30mm backset, KAS449 AR 3 Star 90mm profile cylinder KAS447 AR cylinder operated shootbolt KAS572 COC Installed with bespoke accessories and fixings strictly inaccordance with manual instructions Glass, Glazing and Infil Panels: Doors to be fitted with external KAS769 vertical glazing rebate bead, external horizontal glazing rebate is integral to the door rail. Clip fit glazing beads are fitted internally. The system is designed to accept glazing of 28mm to 46mm thickness (insulating glass units or panels). Glazing to be carried out in strict accordance with BS 6262 and BS 6206 with particular attention being taken to risk areas, which would require safety glass. 7 Thermal Performance Therm Software images Typical intermediate rail detail Therm Version Thermal data for frame elements (Uf) is independently validated by UKAS accredited testing facility. Psi (Ψ) and IGU Centre pane U-Value (Ug) data is provided by manufactures of insulated glass units (this data should also be validated in accordance with the relevant BS EN product standards by an accredited body) so overall U-Value to be calculated to the standard models for single and double doors as defined in BS EN 14351:2006. Resulting values can then be used on the relevant product DOP and CE Marking information. NB Psi and Ug performance data will vary according to the IGU inner and outer glass specification, cavity filling with air or gasses and edge spacer chosen, so ensure your calculation data accurately reflects the IGU products being used. KAS KAS593-P KAS772 Regardless of threshold type they are all drained in the same manner. 30x6 slots draining both inner and outer drainage channel at both ends with only the outer drainage channel drained at all intermediate locations. All intermediate locations should be placed symmetrically about the center of the door and at maximum 600mm Ctrs.
