Pulse rte inputs (counters) re vilble for flow mesurements. Universl inputs cn be used to mesure nlog mesurnds vi stndrd signls [0() to 0 ma or 0 to 0 V]. In totl, the device cn mesure nd mnge up to 9 prmeters simultneously. Control Besides numerous simple lrm, limit vlue or timecontrolled switching functions, up to four higherorder control loops cn be defined in the JUMO AQUIS touch S t the sme time. Tried nd tested JUMO control lgorithms re used for P, PI, PD, nd PID control in these pplictions. Disply A 5.5" TFT color screen with touch function serves to disply ll prmeters s well s operte nd setup the device. The plin text opertion philosophy virtully elimintes the need for mnul. The operting lnguge cn be selected from mong 5 lnguges tht re lredy included in the device t the fctory. The lnguge librry cn be expnded to up to 0 lnguges vi the PC setup progrm. It is lso possible to disply lnguges with Chinese or Cyrillic chrcters. As result, the device is predestined for globl use. Record A pperless recorder is integrted for dt recording. 4 Pge /5 Description Operting concept The JUMO AQUIS touch S is operted vi the touchdisply. Mesured vlues, operting sttes, nd digrms of the individul functions re displyed nd visulized on up to 6 opertor displys. The device functions cn be controlled using the buttons on the corresponding opertor displys. Touching the nvigtion buttons selects the opertor disply to be shown. The opertor displys re rrnged in n operting loop nd cn be run in loop vi the Next opertor disply button nd selected using the Select opertor disply button. The Device settings menu button is for configurtion nd prmeteriztion. A further menu for viewing pending lrms nd n event protocol cn be opened vi the Alrm/ event list button. Further opertor displys re creted by configuring controllers nd recording groups, thereby provisioning controller screens nd digrms in the operting loop. The individul opertor displys cn be configured for showing selected mesured vlues or binry signls nd for defining hedings. Overview screens The overview screens re pooled displys of mesured vlues nd binry signl sttes. For the nlog mesurnds, prt screens, or prt screens cn be configured for displying or disply fields, ech with min nd secondry mesured vlue. One dditionl vlue nd up to binry vlues cn lso be displyed in ech overview screen. Hedings of the disply window nd the disply fields cn be renmed. Input signls cn be freely ssigned to the disply fields. One prt overview screen displys up to 9 nlog nd binry signls. Dt monitor This function is included in the stndrd version. The dt monitor displys mesurement dt s line recorder digrm with time stmp. There re groups vilble. For ech ctivted group, digrm is displyed in the operting loop s long s the group concerned is configured. nlog chnnels nd binry chnnels cn be displyed per group. The mesurement dt re stored in ring buffer. The oldest mesurement dt re overwritten to llow mesurement dt recording to continue when the ring buffer is full. Recording function This function equtes to conventionl pperless recorder nd is vilble s n extr code. It corresponds essentilly to n expnded dt monitor function with the following dditionl options: Disply mesurement dt history (scroll digrm) Dt retrievl vi USB flsh drive or JUMO PCC softwre The mesurement dt histories cn be retrieved vi JUMO PCC softwre or lterntively vi USB flsh drive, nd cn be displyed, evluted, nd rchived using the JUMO PCA000 PC Evlution Softwre. 5 Pge 5/5 Process screen The PC setup progrm is ble to crete customerspecific process screen in which globl overview of the plnt process cn be displyed. Once creted, the process screen is trnsferred by the PC setup progrm to the JUMO AQUIS touch S, where it becomes prt of the operting loop. Up to 50 objects (screens, digitil displys, br grphs, texts, etc.) cn be used in the process screen. Typicl for process screen: User level A user level is menu which the user cn ccess quickly nd simply in order to define certin prmeters nd configurtion settings. A userdefined block of up to 5 settings cn be selected vi the PC setup progrm nd stored t user level. Function level The Function level menu llows internl functions to be used nd the sttus of these functions to be displyed. For exmple, counters cn be reset or wsh opertion strted mnully here. PC setup progrm The PC setup progrm enbles the JUMO AQUIS touch S to be conveniently configured nd prmeterized using PC. Dt records cn be creted, edited, trnsmitted to the device nd extrcted in this wy. The dt cn be sved nd printed. Anlysis inputs Four optionl slots for nlysis inputs cn be flexibly equipped with optionl bords for mesuring phvlue, redox potentil, NH, nd electrolytic conductivity (conductive/inductive). The conductivity mesurement lso covers TDS nd ultrpure wter pplictions within its performnce rnge of services. A compenstion for numerous influencing vribles (e.g. temperture nd phvlue) cn be configured. This mkes the JUMO AQUIS touch S the centrl mesuring point for ll nlysis mesurnds in one process. The diverse rnge of connectble electrodes nd sensors enble ll processrelevnt mesurnds to be recorded in single device. In ddition to nlysis mesurnds, these mesurnds include physicl mesurnds, such s temperture nd flow rte, nd lso ny mesurnd cpble of being trnsferred s pulse frequency signl or stndrd signl. Alrm functions ensure the monitoring of mesured vlues for overrun nd underrun of limit vlues. The limit vlues cn be defined by the user. Anlog inputs Besides the stndrd temperture mesuring inputs (Pt00, Pt000, resistnce trnsmitters, NTC, etc.) nd the universl input (0() to 0 ma) of the Bse unit, dditionl nlog inputs with optionl bords cn be mde vilble. The optionl nlog inputs cn be configured for RTD temperture probes, resistnce trnsmitters, nd voltge nd current signls. This mkes the JUMO AQUIS touch S extremely flexible to use for mesuring numerous mesurnds. Here too, the user cn configure lrm functions for monitoring mesured vlues for overrun nd underrun. Customerspecific lineriztion In ddition to the stndrdized, fctorystored sensor chrcteristic lines, customerspecific lineriztion is lso possible. This option llows ny sensor chrcteristic lines to be entered. Progrmming is done vi the PC setup progrm through vlue tble (up to 0 vlue pirs) or by inputting th degree polynomil. Binry inputs The signls from stndrd nd up to 6 optionl binry inputs (potentilfree contcts nd logic signls) cn be used to trigger vrious internl functions, switchover of prmeter block or the strt of utotuning, for exmple. IN nd IN enble the frequency of encoders to be mesured in order to perform flow mesurements using impeller sensors or monitor the rottionl speed of pumps, for instnce. There re mesuring rnges vilble, depending on how the mesuring principle in the flow function is configured: to 00 Hz (periodic time mesurement) 00 Hz to 0 khz (pulse counting) Externl inputs Bus technologies enble further 8 nlog nd 8 binry inputs to be employed for signl trnsmission with bus users. Anlog outputs The nlog outputs re freely sclble (current, voltge). They cn be used to output controller outputs, setpoint vlues, mth results, nd the nlog input signls (e.g. ctul vlue). Besides the stndrd nlog outputs of the Bse unit, up to 7 more with optionl bords cn be retrofited. Binry outputs Binry outputs re switching nd logic outputs. Binry outputs enble the output of lrms, limit vlue contcts, logic results nd controller signls. Three binry outputs (OUT to rely) re provided s stndrd. A mximum of 7 binry outputs cn be chieved in the device by mens of optionl bords. The limit vlue cn be permnently configured. This function enbles the monitoring of ny nlog vlues. The violtion of limit vlue cn trigger lrms, event list entries, or switching functions. During this process, the rection of the control pth to the chnges in the ctuting vrible is evluted. Numerous opertors re vilble for the formule. The JUMO PC setup progrm cn be used to crete formule with bsic rithmetic opertions, root functions, power functions, logrithm functions, ngle functions, nd mny other functions. Opertors AND, OR, NOT, XOR, nd edge detections re vilble for logic printouts. The mth nd logic module cn be configured solely vi the PC setup progrm. The controller outputs cn be configured s continuous output (output level s stndrd signl), pulse length output (output level s pulse length), or pulse frequency output (output level s pulse frequency). Controller overview screen If t lest controller chnnels re configured, n overview of ll controllers with the most importnt dt is displyed in the operting loop. Controller prmeters Two prmeter blocks cn be sved for ech of the controller chnnels. Ech prmeter block hs 5 prmeters for dpting the controller to the conditions of the process concerned. Ech controller cn be toggled Flow rte Two flow mesurement functions cn be configured. Flow rtes cn be mesured on the bsis of the pulse signls t IN or IN nd/ or of n nlog input signl. The mesured flow rte cn be integrted vi the Totl quntity function. In this wy, the liquid volume tht hs pssed over the mesuring point is cumulted over configurble period. Counter Four counters cn be used to count ctivtion opertions or operting hours of binry functions such s lrms, binry inputs, wsh timers, etc. This function is intended primrily for monitoring mintennce intervls.

7 Pge 7/5 Timers Two timer functions re included. They cn be configured either s timers or time switches. Configured s timer, the functions ct like time rely. The timer is controlled for strting, resetting nd stopping vi binry signls. A timer cn lso be stopped, or its strt delyed, by the tolernce bnd function. The tolernce bnd is the devition of mesured vlue from predefined reference. If the configured devition is exceeded, the timer concerned stops. The chronologicl sequence of the timer signl cn be influenced by the settings timer time, timer strt runup time, nd timer end time in such mnner tht typicl time rely functions (e.g. response dely or fllbck dely) cn be chieved. The time switch function corresponds to week timer. Up to ctivtion nd dectivtion times cn be set for ech weekdy. Wsh timer Two wsh timers re used for the regulr clening of electrodes. Certin recurring functions re triggered t preconfigurble intervls. Wsh timers cn, for exmple, control binry outputs in order to ctivte clening process in the plnt. By clening sensors on regulr bsis, optiml mesuring certinty cn be gurnteed. Clibrtion timer The clibrtion timer function reminds the opertor to reclibrte the sensors. Corresponding lrms nd event list entries cn be individully configured. Clibrtion logbook Anlog inputs IN 6 to IN re covered by clibrtion logbook, in which ll successfully completed clibrtion processes re recorded long with the dte, time, nd numerous other detils. An overview of the clibrtion history on the nlysis sensors is therefore vilble t ll times. USB interfces There re two types of USB interfce host interfce nd device interfce. A USB flsh drive cn be connected to the host interfce. Mesurement dt, configurtion dt, nd service dt cn thus be sved. Additionlly, configurtions cn be uploded from the flsh drive to the device nd device softwre updtes cn be run. The device interfce serves, in combintion with stndrd USB cble, to operte the PC setup progrm nd to retrieve mesurement dt for the optionl recording function vi the JUMO PCC softwre. Both USB interfces re locted next to the connection terminls in the bse bord. The host interfce cn optionlly be ttched to USB host socket (see order detils) on the cse next to the cble entries, llowing it to be used without opening the cse. Seril interfces RS/85 The JUMO AQUIS touch S hs stndrd RS/85 interfce with Modbus RTU protocol (slve). A further interfce cn be retrofitted s n optionl bord. Seril interfces re used to integrte the device into n utomtion network. This llows the JUMO AQUIS touch S to communicte with SCADA system or other Modbus mster devices. PROFIBUSDP interfce The PROFIBUSDP interfce cn be used to integrte the JUMO AQUIS touch S into fieldbus system operting ccording to the PROFIBUSDP stndrd. An pplictionspecific GSD file, vi which the JUMO AQUIS touch S is integrted into the fieldbus system, is generted by mens of the project engineering tool supplied (GSD genertor; GSD = bsic device dt (Gerätestmmdten)). Ethernet interfce The JUMO AQUIS touch S cn be integrted into LAN vi the optionl Ethernet interfce. This enbles the device to communicte with ll PCs in the LAN concerned. The PC setup progrm nd PCC communiction softwre cn be ccessed from these PCs using the JUMO progrms. The Ethernet interfce permits use of the web server, emil, nd Modbus TCP/IP functions. Web server (online visuliztion) HTML documents, which cn be creted using conventionl HTML editor, cn be stored in the JUMO AQUIS touch S using the PC setup progrm. These documents cn contin texts, grphics, nd JvScript code. Anlog nd binry vlues of the JUMO AQUIS touch S cn be displyed vi JvScript. The result is website which cn be retrieved over the Internet or LAN nd displyed vi PC using conventionl web browser. On this website, the user cn now see cler disply of the plnt or the process, including mesured vlues nd operting sttes. A Stndrd online visuliztion function is stored t the fctory. A PC with Microsoft Windows operting system nd Silverlight instlled is required to use this function. Web server JUMO AQUIS touch S HTTP Web browser HTTP Web browser Alrm/event list The lrm list reports currently pending errors. Possible lrm messges include clibrtion lrms or lrms triggered by input signls. Once the error sources re eliminted, lrms dispper utomticlly. The event list stores nd reports events, such s the ppernce nd disppernce of lrms, voltge supply filures, clibrtions, etc. However, event list entries cn lso be configured in the functions of the JUMO AQUIS touch S. Emil/SMS text messge Internet/ LAN The JUMO AQUIS touch S cn be configured for the eventcontrolled disptch of emil messges. This enbles mintennce personnel to be notified bout the presence of lrms, for exmple (lso vi trnsmission s SMS in the emil/sms gtewy of cellulr phone provider).
