1 Upcoming Events Mini-Camp We are holding a Mini Camp Calico on May at the shop. The cost is $55 and includes Sunday Brunch. You must register for this! The times are: Fri, May 27 9 am-11 pm Sat, May 28 8 am-11 pm Sun, May 29 8 am-4 pm Summer Shop Hops Right now, there are 2 shop hops that you don t want to miss: Row by Row This nationwide shop hop will run from June 21-Sept 6. The theme is Home Sweet Home. No passports are required and you ll receive a free pattern. Florida Shop Hop With a lighthouse theme, this shop hop runs from July 16-Aug 20. The passports are free and we ll be having more details soon! The shop will be open on Sundays during this time. Angie Steveson/Lunchbox Quilts Angie will be here on June 24 with a trunk show, followed by a mug rug workshop (your choice of patterns) the following day, June 25 from 9-4 pm. Quilt Fest Mark your calendar for Sept for this popular event in the Jacksonville quilting world, Quilt Fest! It will be held at the Prime Osborn Center from 9-5 daily. There will be a tradeshow and a variety of workshops and classes. Jodi Barrows Author, fabric designer and quilter, Jodi Barrows will be offering a workshop at our store on Sept She is known for a Square in a Square. For more information, visit her website at Long Arm Rental Classes Several classes will be offered to teach the technique of using our Q24 Long Arm. The cost is $95 includes 2-free hours of quilting during the first 3 weeks immediately following your certification, a zipper kit and a training panel. Class is limited to 4. Dates are March 19, April 2 and April 16. Call the shop to sign up. Gatherings Sew n Supper $10 Fri, March 11 (corned beef), 6 pm Fri, April 8 (tbd), 6 pm Bring a covered dish, a project that you re working on and share a meal and sewing with good friends. All levels of sewing are welcome! Sit n Sew Nothing makes us happier than to see your smiling faces and our classroom busy and full of creative minds! The cost is only $5 and runs from 9:30 am 5 pm.
