The fabric was designed by Leslie Tucker Jenison, a local San Antonio resident. And St. PJ's needs our help! Join us for a Community Sew / Sew a Jelly Roll Day on September 16th. 2 Embroidery Basics Rescheduled! The Embroidery Basics class has been rescheduled for Sunday, Aug. 20th from 1:00-4:00. Maria (our San Antonio store manager) received a call from her friend at St. PJ's - They need more quilts! St. PJ's is a licensed short-term emergency shelter for 135 children who are victims of abuse, neglect and human and sex trafficking. 2/16

3 They loved the quilts donated during the Holidays and they've put in a request for more! The same week they asked for help Moda announced Sew A Jelly Roll Day! Coincidence? I think not! Please join us September 16th from 1:00-4:00 to sew some Jelly Roll Race Quilts for St. PJ's. Bring your own Jelly Roll or purchase one the day of the event for $20 to be used at the event. We'll be donating the backing, batting, and thread. Space is limited - please call to reserve your seat. Please let us know if you'd like to borrow a machine. TRUNK SHOW Leslie Tucker Jenison is an award-winning contemporary quiltmaker from San Antonio TX. A surface design artist for 16 years, her work has been shown in local, national, and international venues. Leslie has been on The Quilt Show and has been a frequent guest on Quilting Arts TV. She has written numerous articles for quilting magazines and has been a featured artist in numerous books and has a workshop DVD with F&W media.
