1 Special Events Each Month Sign up for all classes at the store. You will receive a supply list for the class when you pay the fee. The fee must be paid before you attend the class. You are not registered until the fee is paid. August 2, Sept. 6, Oct. 4 Nov. 1, Dec. 6, Jan. 3 One quilt back only per month. Must bring the quilt in for the 25% discount. We love to see the quilts! The pattern will feature either a jelly roll or a layer cake. Supplies not included. From inserting zippers to applique, you will just have a blast with her designs. Each class is individual so sign up when you can. Please know your embroidery machine to attend. A different bag will be made each month. Bring your favorite beginning project to get started on your journey to success. Star Pillow 1 session (2 hours) Fee: $20 Date: Friday, August This pillow is not only cute but very useful. It makes a great car pillow and is comfortable for readers who wear glasses! This is shown in class using 3 different fabrics. Get a supply list when you sign up. EZC Bag 1 session (2 hours) Fee: $20 Date: Saturday, August This cute little bag can be a gift bag that is a gift. Add a gift card and some candy and you will make any recipient happy. It s perfect to keep sewing supplies in because you don t have to open it to see what s in it. It is also TSA compliant. You ll want to make lots to have and to give! K.K. s Mini-Wallet All Level Date: Friday, August 17 9:30-1:30 This little wallet is fun to make and more fun to use. It has a vinyl outside ID pocket that is covered by a flap that lends itself to any kind of decoration, embroidery, piecing or applique. The flap snaps over the ID pocket to protect your information. On the other side is a snapped coin pocket. Inside there is a cash/bill pocket and 3 card pockets. A wrist strap is removable. Pattern purchase required. Checkered Dresden Plate 1 session (5 hours) Fee: $50 Instructor: Brenda Esslinger Date: Thursday, August Looking for something new and eye catching to do with your jelly rolls? Even if you don t enjoy doing appliqué, you ll find this pattern to be fast, easy and fun! The large 22" block means you won t need very many to make even the largest of quilts. Beginning Machine Quilting I Date: Friday, September You will learn stitch in a ditch using the walking foot as well as how to stitch next to the ditch which is easier than stitching in the ditch. You will also learn how to set up your machine for free motion quilting and feel comfortable with moving the fabric freely. This is a skill you ll use forever. Fidget Quilts Instructor: Susan Masters Includes Kit Date: Saturday, September Want to make a lap size activity quilt for a senior or child? These unique quilts are fun to make and any nursing home would love to have them! I will bring kits and teach some shortcuts to construction methods. You should have your quilt all but bound by the end of class! You will need to bring a zipper and some batting, but I ll have the fabrics, toys and fun stuff!

Let s talk about how to quilt for different patterns of your quilt and about colors and types of threads. We will discuss types of quilting and how to do the new, popular big stitch quilting by machine or hand. Different methods and types of binding will be explored. And if you still like to do the hand stitching, we will go over how to sew it down correctly and invisibly using the correct stitch.
