Monogram & Lettering Software Saturday, October 18th Monday, November 10th A beginner's class in Brother's Monogram & Lettering software. Will show basic interface and editing followed by a Q&A on specific features. Introduction to PE-Design Tuesday, October 23rd A beginner's class in Brother's PE-Design software. Will show basic interface and editing followed by a Q&A on specific features.

2 Scan N Cut Saturday, October 25th Tuesday, October 28th Thursday, November 13th Saturday, November 15th Tuesday, December 9th Introducing Scan N Cut, the world's first home and hobby cutting machine with a build in scanner, giving you the ability to scan almost anything you can get your hands on and place into the machine to cut out. Downloading Embroidery Designs Monday, October 20th Saturday, November 1st 12:30pm to 2:00pm Learn how to download designs from various embroidery sites and load them into your embroidery machine.

3 Resizing Embroidery Designs Monday October 13th Saturday, November 15th Using software and your machines own editing functions to resize premade embroidery designs.

4 Fall Class Schedule Classes fill up quickly! Enroll by phone or stop in to reserve your spot! Beginning Quilting 1 -- Night Sewing level: 16 and older. Must know how to sew a straight seam, thread a needle, and know right side of fabric from wrong side. No machine necessary. May bring their own tools but not necessary. Day and Time: Monday, 6-9 pm. Dates: Oct. 27, Nov. 3, 10, 17, 24 Cost: $35 Description of Class: I have broken my beginning quilting into 2 parts. Part one is making blocks with squares and rectangles. 4 blocks will be made and then you will have a choice of what to make with them. You will learn how to rotary cut, sew a 1/4 seam, pressing, and other quilting skills. Private Lessons are available. Call Jean Walker at to set up lessons at a mutually available time. I can teach you how to quilt or finish quilting projects, how to sew or do a sewing project, thread your serger, or how to make a project with your serger. Classes are usually $10/hour. Classes are held at Tomahawk Sew N Vac.

Can rotary cut a straight edge, cut strips to the right size, sew a straight 1/4 seam, and press seams correctly. Day and Time: Wed., Oct. 29, 6-8 pm OR Thurs., Oct. 30, Description of Class: Make and Take class. We will make a pillow that you can use as a gift or decoration. Use fabrics to go with the house or holiday fabric. Will learn an easy way to do the back. Front will be quilt pattern based. It will be easy and addictive. You can always use more that one pillow! Christmas Stocking Sewing level: Had Beginner 1 class or have made quilts on their own. Can rotary cut a straight edge, cut strips to the right size, sew a straight 1/4 seam, and press seams correctly. **Under 16 years old--need instructor permission. Day and Time: Wed., Nov. 5, 6-8 pm OR Thurs., Nov. 6, noon Cost: $18--includes pattern and batting Make and take a quick and easy Christmas stocking. Price includes the pattern so you can make more than one. Kits are available if you don t want to put fabric together. Jelly Roll Race Come together with a few friends and have a great time making a quilt from baby size to twin size. This is based on the Missouri Star quilt pattern and is a great time with a few friends. All you need is a jelly roll of holiday fabric and the ability to sew fast! Dates and Time: Wed., Nov. 12, 6-8 pm OR Thurs., Nov. 13, noon Serger class--pajama pants for the family or Friends Maybe you want matching pajamas for the family for Christmas Eve night or easy gifts for teen-age friends. Take this class and they will be finished quickly and easily. You ll be surprised how fast you can make them with the serger. Sewing level: Beginner 2--must be able to cut out a pattern, sew a 5/8 seam, and press open a seam.
