STAFF PICK OF THE WEEK LAURIE! FORK PINS Laurie (the owner) loves these fork pins! Once you nest your seams slide each side of the pin on either side of that seam.

Sew right up to the pin, stop with your needle down (never sew over pins) which will hold your fabric together, remove the pin and keep on sewing. Easy Peasy!

PJ's - They need more quilts! St. PJ's is a licensed short-term emergency shelter for 135 children who are victims of abuse, neglect and human and sex trafficking.

PJ'S CHILDREN'S HOME Maria (our San Antonio store manager) received a call from her friend at St. PJ's - They need more quilts! St. PJ's is a licensed short-term emergency shelter for 135 children who are victims of abuse, neglect and human and sex trafficking. San Antonio customers made nearly 50 quilts for the shelter during Christmas and they loved them. They've had an influx of kids this 7/15

8 summer and they are in need. The same week they asked for help Moda announced Sew A Jelly Roll Day! Coincidence? I think not! Please join us September 16th from 1:00-4:00 to sew Jelly Roll Race Quilts for St. PJ's. Bring your own Jelly Roll or purchase one the day of the event for $20 to be used for the event. We'll be donating the backing, batting, and thread. Space is limited please call or go online to reserve your seat. Please let us know if you'd like to borrow a machine.
