Knitting Next Door will be celebrating it s 1 year anniversary in Sept. and the Des Moines show is just around the corner. Our Groovy Girls 2 Sewing Club starts Friday, Sept. 16th and our Strip and Stitch Bus Trip is Sept Our fall class schedule is jam-packed with exciting classes from great techniques to projects that make great gifts. We re bursting at the seams with fabrics and creative ideas for all your holiday projects and don t miss the Fair Specials on our fabulous Baby Lock sewing machines and sergers. The club meets the last Monday of the month from STITCHERY AND WOOL CLUB This year we ve combined two of our popular clubs to make it even bigger and better, beginners welcome! Each month there will be a hand embroidery project and a wool project and kits will be available. All you need to do is bring your floss, needle and scissors for this fun, relaxing get-together. Sign up by the 1st of the month to ensure that we have enough kits The meetings will be the 2nd Thursday of the month at 10:30am and 6:00pm and will last 1 1/2 hours for extra stitching time! Free with purchase of monthly kit * *JUST ADDED* * Machine Embroidered Mylar Greeting Cards Learn to make greeting cards using mylar and your machine embroidery unit. No metallic embroidery thread needed! The mylar gives the embroidered design sparkle using "regular" 40wt. rayon or polyester machine embroidery thread. The cards we will make in class are quilt block embroidery designs. When you learn the tricks, this project is easy enough for beginners and something different for the more experienced. This class requires a 5" x 7" hoop or larger. Classes have a minimum of 4 students and refunds are available up to one week before the first class session. In fairness to the teachers and other students who have purchased their supplies, we are unable to make refunds after that time. Supplies are needed for all classes and a supply list will be furnished when you register. The class fee covers instruction only, but there is a 10% discount on all supplies needed for the class. Materials for classes at Quilter s Cupboard must be purchased at Quilter s Cupboard so that we can remain in business to keep offering you more great classes!
