2 Beginning Quilting Get ready to make your first quilt! Join us for an in-depth class covering the basics of making a quilt. fabric selection pattern reading proper cutting best practices for piecing basting, quilting and binding your project Keep it simple and start with a small quilt, but the skills you learn can be applied to bigger future quilts. Class size will be kept small, so reserve your spot early. 4-week sessions are $75.00 each Includes the pattern. Wednesday Nights All classes at 6:00 pm October 8, 15, 22 and 29 Disappearing 9 Patch Learn to make this fun and favorite quilt pattern. Start with a nine-patch, cut it up, and rearrange the blocks for a dynamic result. You ll want to make it again and again. Class covers piecing the top only. Fee is $40 for two nights plus the pattern. Mondays Nights All classes at 6:00 pm October 13 and 27 Come in and see our samples, pick up a supply list, and reserve your spot. Bring your machine to class. Free Motion Quilting $15 So you want to free-motion quilt with your sewing machine. You know you should practice, but practice what? This class will give you expert guidance with lots of helpful tips. You ll be amazed at the improvement in your quilting skills after just two hours. Plus, we practice on sample fabrics, so no quilt top needed. October 10 1:00 or 6:00 pm November 7 1:00 or 6:00 pm Paper Pieced Christmas Tree This evergreen tree is the perfect project to dust off your paper piecing skills. (Or come to learn paper piecing for the first time.) Make it festive for Christmas, or stick with greens and browns for an all-season wall hanging. Class covers piecing the top only.
