This series of classes will be demonstration based, with showing the techniques, demonstrating ruler work, etc. This will be an opportunity to answer your questions, show & tell, and address any problems you are having and let you try out products and techniques. Sewing Studio Have you always wanted to learn to sew, or are you self-taught and need some fine tuning? Bring in a project and we'll teach you how to sew, or to sew better or just finish your unfinished projects. Don't have a project? 4 Kids Classes KIDS SEWING STUDIO Kids pick from a list of projects and learn to sew things like a purse, pillow case, sleep pants, ruffled skirt, Hoodie etc. Some projects take two sessions, some one session. Level: Beginner Teacher: Debbie Class Day: Friday Time: 10:00-12:30pm Cost: $15.00 Kit: $10.00 and up Summer 2018 Kids Camp This class will teach your child how to sew in a week. All materials are included with this class and we even offer a healthy snack! At the end of the week, your child has learned to sew and is the proud owner of the brand new sewing machine they used in class. You decide how large to make it by adding rows columns in the center. This is also REVERSABLE! 5 Volunteer Classes As an exciting bonus on the last Wednesday of every month this group makes special project s for donation. For example some of their projects are as follows: Chemo Caps Fleece Caps Carry-all bags for walkers Pet shelter blankets. We are a Project Linus drop off location: Project Linus welcomes blankets of all styles, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans, and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors. Blankets must be new, handmade and washable. In addition, they must come from a smoke-free environment. You don't have to be an expert to create a blanket that is beautiful to a child! CLASS POLICIES TO REGISTER: Sign up in store or by phone. As most classes fill quickly, please sign up early. CLASS FEE: Is due at time of sign-up. We accept credit cards, check or cash. Cancelations*: If you must cancel your reservation; before 2 weeks a full refund will be given; 2 weeks to 48 hours you may receive a refund less the amount of the kit to be used in that class, (note: This kit will be yours to use in a future class). Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice cannot be refunded. There will be a full refund if we need to cancel the class for any reason (such as weather conditions). * Special Event cancellations are dealt with individually BRING: Basic sewing supplies and your machine in good working order to all classes except lecture type. PURCHASES: Please purchase supplies in advance so that class may begin on time. You receive a 15% discount on all class supplies, as well as all purchases on notions, fabric and books made on class day!
