Be sure to sign up for our classes, they are the best! Our demos continue on Saturday s at 10 am. Be sure to watch our s for hints about the tip, technique or project to be highlighted. First Saturday is our Saturday Sampler Demo, but all others change each week. Make sure you are signed up for our newsletter delivered right to your box by signing up at our website: Corrales Havest Festival: Saturday, September 30 th & Sunday, October 1 st. While out in Corrales taking in all of the entertainment, come by the shop and see our quilts hanging off our porch that are for sale. The quilts for sale are made by our staff. Blocks of the Month (BOM s) We have some great Blocks of the Month programs coming in 2017! Stay tuned! Mystical Prism: Timeless Treasures brings you Mystical Prism by Wing & a Prayer designers. This 12-month program will begin October It is a beautiful batik purple and turquoise quilt measuring 102 x 102. The sign up fee is $50. Block Buster: Join for only $3.00! Start any time! When you sign up, you will get a Fat Eighth of fabric and instructions to create a 12-1/2 block. Complete your block with our Fat Eighth fabric and some from your stash or ours! Bring your finished block in by the second Saturday to be hung throughout the shop. Join us on the third Saturday at 10:00 am to receive your next block free. If you keep coming without missing a month, this program will only cost you $3.00. If you miss a month, you can rejoin for only $3.00. Come see all the fun we are having! - Finished block due October 14 th and new block released October 21 st - Finished block due November 11 th and new block released November 18 th - Finished block due December 9 th and new block released December 16 th 2017 Saturday Sampler Workshop: We will be offering a free workshop to help you with any of your Saturday Sampler blocks. You can pop-in just to have some questions answered or bring your sewing machine and get on your way to completing your quilt! Here is our workshop date/time: Saturday, December 9 th, 1-4pm.

Beautiful ombre fabric creates an optical illusion that's sewn with straight seams. Easy for any skill level. Only 2 fabrics are used in this project! Choose from three layouts! Let Sue hold your hand while you learn to use a rotary cutter and ruler. She ll lead you through piecing several different blocks. You ll use those blocks to make placemats. Then on to making a quilt sandwich and some easy quilting. She ll also show you two different ways of finishing a project including binding. 4 Friday, October 20 th, Beginning Free-Motion Quilting 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Class Fee: $30 Instructor: Patti Lueker Learn the basics of free motion quilting step by step. Bring your large white board and dry erase markers to warm up your muscle memory, then on to your machine to make it come alive! Come join us for a FUN and creative class!! Sunday, October 22 nd, Wonkie Kaffe Foundation Piecing Quilt Instructor: Andrea Armitage Pattern required; Kits available This is a bright and bold quilt using Kaffe Fassett fabric that explores a variety of highly saturated colors with pure hues in a lighter and lower saturation of color - which is then complimented with black. Learn how to create the blocks without the need to "add a quarter inch" in the traditional method of paper piecing/foundation piecing. Additionally, due to the nature of foundation of piecing there is no paper to tear out, and no stress of making a stitching mistake which requires ripping out. This fun wall-hanging uses Ricky Tims One Seam Flying Geese technique and can be completed before Christmas. Quilts Olé Class Information Payment in full is required to reserve a seat in the class. Although we HATE to cancel classes, sometimes it is inevitable. Quilts Olé reserves the right to cancel a class and will attempt to reschedule. If a class cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be given. If student cancels a scheduled class, one week before the class, we will issue a store credit for the class fee. If there is a future class the student wishes to reserve, then we will reserve that class. Students receive a 15% discount for purchases of materials for the class and a 15% discount for any purchase on the day of class. Please come to class fully prepared and ready to sew! Supply lists are provided at time of registration.
