Her beautiful array of fall colors will soon be bursting out all over. This can also mean it is time to get back into the swing of quilting. The Calico Shoppe has been receiving wonderful fabric collections (with many more to come this year), outstanding quilting books and adorable patterns to help you with the transition from gardening to quilting! 2 Spelling Bee by Lori Holt Row of the Month Join the fun as you create this adorable quilt, one row at a time! You will be piecing letters, punctuation marks, and the cutest picture blocks to complete your quilt. This will be a 9 month program and will include all fabrics including binding. 3 Saturday Sampler is coming back! We have chosen the first Saturday of each month beginning January 6, 2018 at 9:30 am We will be working on Midnight Stars by Sew Simple Each month you will receive the pattern and fabric for that months block. Twelve blocks in all. $20.00 registration fee, after that each month is free! You will need to attend each months meeting to pick up your free block. You will need to complete your block by the next meeting to receive your free block. If you miss a meeting or do not have your block completed the fee is $5.00 to get the next block pattern and fabric. During the year you will be able to purchase your finishing kit to complete your Midnight Stars quilt. Quilt measures 80 1/2 x 98 1/2 Ladies of the Loft Quilt Club 2018 Join the fun as Ladies of the Loft (LOL QUILT CLUB) embarks on another year of quilting fun. LOL has three meeting times 1st Thursday of each month at 9:30 am or 6:00 pm 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:30 am. Scrappy is the theme for Registration $25.00 Join the fun! Bus tours welcomed! 5 CLASS REGISTRATION Pre-registration is required for all classes. Please stop in to register and pick up your supply lists, or you may register by phone, using a credit card. If registering by phone you may pick your supply list up at a later date (if you live out of town and would like us to mail your supply list, please let us know). Payment must be received at time of registration to guarantee your spot in the class. If you must cancel your reservation, we must know at least five days prior to the class, or no refund will be given. We always respect copyright laws. If a pattern or book is required for your class, you must have your own copy. Class Schedule Beginning Quilting Tues. Oct. 3, 10, 17 and 24 6:00-9:00 A terrific class to get you started in the world of Quilting! Basic techniques will be covered from fabric cutting, threads, seam allowances, to correct pressing. Stitch up a few blocks, and we will get them sewn into a cute table topper! $40.00 plus required book Lynn Kim Diehl s Simple Whatnots Club 7 We will be starting Kim s new Simple Whatnots Club in January.
