1 Homespun Happenings from The Calico Shoppe Summer 2018 Make a Quilt - Make a Memory The Calico Shoppe will be celebrating a milestone this summer! We are 25 years old (young). It just does not seem possible, I am sure we only opened a few years ago, but time does fly by when you are having fun! We have gone through 3 expansions, added the Purple Petunia Gift Shop, and we still seem to run out of room every time a new fabric collection arrives. What a great problem to have. And to top it off, it is all been possible because of our wonderful customers. A huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you! Come and help us Celebrate! 3 Quilt Expo Bus Trip Saturday September 8th Quilt Expo in Madison WI gets bigger and better every year! More vendors, more quilts and more fun. The easiest way to get there is to hop on our bus. No driving, no parking worries, and we will drop you off and pick you up at the door. Sign up early! 4 Wisconsin State Shop Hop 2018 June 8th - 30th This years fabric is Wildflowers of Wisconsin in a brighter color pallet for you summer sewing projects. Also, new this year the sections have been revamped into 8 sections allowing for less miles being traveled in each section. This will make it much easier to qualify for all the fantastic Section Prizes! The Calico Shoppe is in Section 4 along with 9 other great shops. Each shop will have 2 free block patterns for you with kits available for purchase. Upon completion of Section 4 you will receive a fabulous quilt pattern using all the block patterns you received. Finishing kits for the quilt will be available at each shop along with each shops unique finishing ideas. More info at Special Hours during the Shop Hop! 5 CLASS REGISTRATION Pre-registration is required for all classes. Please stop in to register and pick up your supply lists, or you may register by phone, using a credit card. If registering by phone you may pick your supply list up at a later date (if you live out of town and would like us to mail your supply list, please let us know). Payment must be received at time of registration to guarantee your spot in the class. If you must cancel your reservation, we must know at least five days prior to the class, or no refund will be given. We always respect copyright laws. If a pattern or book is required for your class, you must have your own copy. Class Schedule Hat Trick Runner Tues. June 12 9:30-12 Using Atkinson Designs new pattern you can make a runner or table topper, and have it done in time for your Summer entertaining.
