The collection is called Tulips from Clothworks. Tulips by Clothworks Riley Blake is one of the newer manufacturers in our industry. Their line, Quite Contrary, just bubbles over with cheerfulness.

5 Carlsbad s Flower Fields by Betty Nowak The Library is just around the corner from us at 3250 White Bear Road, Sedona. We are pleased to present the Margaret Anderson Art Quilt Exhibit March 1 31, 2011 Be prepared to be swept away with Margaret s mesmerizing art work. As a local artist, she draws inspiration from her surroundings as she works in an intuitive and abstract style. Her hand-painted silk pieces seem to float on the quilt, which has been gently stitched by hand. We are honored to be able to bring to you this nationally-exhibited artist for the month of March.

She will answer your questions and share with you her technique in producing these delicate pieces of art.

The Red Rock Quilters are organizing and working on their quilts to display in their biannual outdoor quilt show, Quiltfest. Sedona in Bloom Quiltfest 2011 Saturday, April 30, am to 4 pm Held here at the Quilter s Store Sedona, you can walk around the property viewing quilts hung out front, along the sides of the buildings and in the courtyard. You ll find the Guild s boutique on the back patio full of beautiful items and quilts for sale. Be sure to check out their demonstrations going on throughout the day. The Guild s opportunity quilt, Sedona in Bloom, designed by member Karin Scanlon, is a colorful interpretation of the southwest in springtime. Raffle tickets can be purchased here at the Store until the drawing. While the Guild puts on their activities outside, inside the Store you ll find a spring sale, more demonstrations, door prize drawings and a free fat quarter gift for every quilter. Expect an all-round festive day celebrating the season and the camaraderie of quilters.
