4 A new monthly club starting March 4: Make it Vintage / Make it Modern With Paulette Traditional blocks continue to inspire quilts. Join Paulette as she shares her knowledge of traditional quilt making that includes moving into the modern era. You will be prepared to go home and use your scraps, pre-cuts, or yardage to sew some tried and true vintage designs, or a modern interpretation of them. Lecture style, handouts included in club fee. Mar 4, Apr 8, May 6, Jun 3, Jul 8 $10.00/month if pre-paid in advance 10am (approximately 1 1/2 hours) $12.50/session for drop-ins Winter 2017 Classes Class sizes are limited to ensure you receive the best instruction. We offer high quality teachers & the biggest, brightest classroom around. Full payment is required upon registration, in person or over the phone. If you are unable to attend & give us 7 days notice, we will give you an in-store credit or refund. Less than 7 days, no refund/credit will be given. In the event we cancel a class you will receive a store credit or a refund. We will give you a supply list when you register and offer you a 15% discount on supplies purchased for one of our classes. EMBROIDERY PILLOW with Sharon $25.00 Enjoy a morning learning basic embroidery stitches. This makes a great project for travelling or the lake. When you are finished stitching, turn it into a pillow, wall-hanging, or finish with a rustic frame. Saturday Feb 25 IMPROV BIRDS with Pat $33.00 Spend an afternoon with Pat and bring your scraps to make these Improv freeform birds. Sunday Feb 12 QUILTING 101 (THE BASICS) D AYT IM E with Pat $ A simple little baby quilt or table topper to get you started. Pat will teach you 2 blocks, assembly, basting, simple quilting, and binding your quilt. This is just the start of the journey. Mondays Mar 6, 20, & 27 9am 1pm RETREAT BAG with Aileen $25.00 Construct a bag perfect for taking to a retreat or hold your knitting. The wire frame holds the bag open for ease of accessibility.
