Saturday June 11th is our next ONE DAY SALE Spring/Summer 2016 Classes With Spring upon us many quilters are busy planning their gardens and booking time at the lake or on the golf course. Therefore we limit classes offered for this session. Look for a full range of classes again in the next newsletter mid-august FUSIBLE APPLIQUE with Sharon $50.00 Become proficient at fusible appliqué, while making a small wall-hanging. Seagull kit purchase required. Saturday May 14 9am-4pm LOVE MY GARDEN with Sharon $25.00 Enjoy a morning learning basic embroidery stitches. This makes a great project for travelling or the lake. When you are finished stitching, turn it into a pillow, wall-hanging, or finish with a rustic frame. Instructions to make the pillow are provided but only the hand embroidery will be done in class. 6 QUILTING 101 (THE BASICS) EVE NING with Pat $ A simple little baby quilt or table topper to get you started. Pat will teach you 2 blocks, assembly, basting, simple quilting, and binding your quilt. This is just the start of the journey. Ask the staff for upcoming dates 6pm-9pm THE RETREAT BA G with Aileen $25.00 Construct a bag perfect for taking to a retreat or hold your knitting. The wire frame holds the bag open for ease of accessibility. Excellent project to use the fun new bag hardware available at the shop. Wednesday June 15 9am-12pm TOOTHBRUSH RUG with Bev $22.50 This rug was traditionally made with a cut off, sharpened toothbrush handle. It s a great way to use up some of your stash. Even those uglies look great in this rug. Saturday Jun 25 1pm-4pm Class sizes are limited to ensure you receive the best instruction. We offer high quality teachers & the biggest, brightest classroom around. Full payment is required upon registration, in person or over the phone. If you are unable to attend & give us 7 days notice, we will give you an in-store credit or refund. Less than 7 days notice, no refund (we have already committed to the teacher and the other students). In the event we cancel a class you will receive a store credit or a refund. We will give you a supply list when you register and offer you a 15% discount on supplies purchased for one of our classes. Please purchase your supplies prior to the day of the class. Page 6
