1 January 29, 2017 Greetings From Quilter's Dream! This week we kick off a new Lori Holt project. Sweetie Pie begins Wednesday (or Saturday). Sheila Honeycutt will be starting a new session of Electric Quilt 7 on Saturday. You can take the class to see if you want to purchase the software! See below for details. The (Bronco-less) Super Bowl is on Sunday February 5 th. We are providing you an alternative to watching those other teams come join us for a Super Bowl Sunday Mystery Quilt day. (970) Here s what s happening this week: Monday 1/30/17 1:00 3:00 OR 6:00 8:00: Quilting 101 This is the 2nd class meeting of this 8-session class. Sandy Hill is the teacher. This class is full. Tuesday 1/31/17 10:30 1:00: Shuttle Tatting Learn a new craft! This is the 2 nd meeting of this 2-session class. 5:00-10:00: Open Sew This is a weekly event. Bring a project to work on. Jackie and Sharon will be available to help you if needed. We order something for dinner, or you can bring your own. Cost: $ Wednesday 2/1/17 9:30 10:30: Farm Girl Vintage Ends, Sweetie Pie Begins We are finishing up the Farm Girl Vintage fun, and introducing a new project! Sweetie Pie is a free pattern from Riley Blake, and uses a fun new fabric line from Lori Holt Sew Cherry 2 We have kits ready to go. 1:00 2:30: Hand Embroidery Club This club meets the first Wednesday of each month. Debbie Benewich is the leader and is there to help you with your projects, as well as teach you new tricks for coloring and stitching your embroidery. The cost is $10.00 per session.

2 Thursday 2/2/17 In January this club began working on a small quilt called Simple Blessings. The cost to join is $25.00 for the year, the book Simple Blessings in Patchwork by Jill Shaulis and Vicki Olsen of Yellow Creek Quilt Designs, and the fabric for the quilt. Brenda Willis facilitates this club. Friday 2/3/17 There are no classes on the schedule today. Saturday 2/4/17 9:30 10:30: Farm Girl Vintage Ends, Sweetie Pie Begins We are finishing up the Farm Girl Vintage fun, and introducing a new project! Today s topic will be Basic Blocks. 2:00 5:00: EQ7 New Session Begins If you have ever wondered about using this software, or perhaps you have it and need some help getting comfortable with it, this is a perfect class for you. There are 6 meetings of the class. You don t have to have a laptop, or the software! If you do have a laptop, you can use the software with a temporary installation. If you decide that you want to purchase the software, you can order and prepay from Jackie, and receive a 20% discount. Sheila Honeycutt is the teacher. Call the store (970) for more details. 5:00 - Midnight: Late Night Sew Come sew late into the night with your friends. This is the 1st Saturday, so Jackie will be providing dinner. Call and sign up for this event, so we have enough tables available for everyone. Cost is $15.00 Sunday 2/5/17 10:00 a.m. 10:00 p.m.: Super Bowl Mystery Quilt Day We will be working on a brand new Mystery Quilt pattern called Super Stars, designed by Loveland's own Sheila Honeycutt.
