The BAT battery module, mounted in series upstream of the AD module, ensures an uninterrupted supply of power if the AD module power supply fails. The voltage measurement inputs are standard equipment on the downstream onnets of the iruit breaker. External onnetions are possible using the PTE external voltage measurement input option. With this option, the internal voltage measurement inputs are disonneted and terminals, and are onneted only to the ontrol unit (Mirologi P and H only). The PTE option is required f voltages less than 100 V and greater than 690 V (in whih ase a voltage transfmer is ompulsy). F three-pole devies, the system is supplied with terminal onneted only to the ontrol unit (Mirologi P and H). When the PTE option is implemented, the voltage measurement input must be proteted against sht-iruits. nstalled as lose as possible to the busbars, this protetion funtion is ensured by a P25M iruit breaker (1 A rating) with an auxiliary ontat (at. no and 21117). This voltage measurement input is reserved exlusively f the ontrol unit and must not ever be used to supply other iruits outside the swithboard. 86 Masterpat Shneider Eletri

Zone seletive interloking A pilot wire interonnets a number of iruit breakers equipped with Mirologi A/P/H ontrol units, as illustrated in the diagram above. The ontrol unit deteting a fault sends a signal upstream and heks f a signal arriving from downstream. f there is a signal from downstream, the iruit breaker remains losed f the full duration of its tripping delay. f there is no signal from downstream, the iruit breaker opens immediately, whatever the tripping-delay setting. Fault 1. Only iruit breaker A detets the fault. Beause it reeives no signal from downstream, it immediately opens in spite of its tripping delay set to 0.3. Fault 2. Ciruit breakers A and B detet the fault. Ciruit breaker A reeives a signal from B and remains losed f the full duration of its tripping delay set to 0.3. Ciruit breaker B does not reeive a signal from downstream and opens immediately, in spite of its tripping delay set to 0.2.
