2 Shades of Gray with EFEX 1. Trace Efex applique to wood with pencil, apply Contact Cement to wood and Efex applique, allow to dry (10 15 min) line up and press together or you can use Rapid Fuse Glue by Dap (Prepared for you) 2. Base coat with General Finishes Limestone Chalk Style Paint. (Prepared for you) 3. Brush GF Limestone, Bone White and Empire Gray Chalk Style Paint. Randomly apply, in criss cross fashion, allow to dry. You want lighter areas and darker areas. 4. Apply GF Pearl Effects in Burnished Pearl to molding, wipe back to give aged look. 5 **Let Dry 6. Apply GF Van Dyke Brown glaze with GF accelerator all over, wipe off high spots. Gives it an aged look. 7. Seal if necessary 1

3 Aged Copper 1. 2 coats of lamp black milk paint (prepared for you) 2. 1 coat of HP satin as a barrier & movability coat (prepared for you) 3. 1 generous coat of pounced Copper Pearl Effects to cover all of the black. You want it with ridges and bumps, allow to dry 4. **Let Dry 5. 1 coat of Pitch Black Glaze effects with GF accelerator for watery consistency wipe off where needed for effect, allow to dry 6. Seal if necessary 2

4 Bonus Effect- Verdigris Copper Verdigris Copper (Decor Piece not for heavy use) 1. Paint 2 coats with a 50/50 mixture of Copper Pearl and Bronze Pearl, allow to dry 2. Add Patina green and a touch of Snow White Milk Paint on a plate, mix slightly 3. If painting a vessel place object upside down 4. Spray object with water lightly 5. Dry Brush and dab randomly 6. Spray water in areas and let run 7. Continue to dry brush and spray till you get look you want, allow to dry 8. Seal if necessary Bonus Effect- Watercolor Look Bonus Effect Watercolor Look 1. Paint random areas with Patina Green Milk Paint, Coral Crush Milk Paint, Midnight Blue Chalk Style Paint, Snow White Milk Paint. Dip brush in water to add drippy parts or use spray bottle of water 2. Allow to dry 3. Add more random patches to enhance colors and drippy effects 4. Sand with 120 grit sandpaper 5. Paint on Winter White Glaze Effects / Vandyke Glaze Effects then wipe off depending on the look you want. Lighter or darker 6. If too pale can add more paint & drips to highlight areas and sand lightly with 220 grit sanding pad 7. Seal if necessary 3

5 Bonus Effect- Veranda Door Bonus Effect Veranda Door 1. Paint random areas with Emerald, Halcyon Blue with Snow White mixed in to colors to make lighter shades 2. Allow to dry 3. Add random patches of Winter White glaze 4. Add small touches of Burnished pearl in molding area 5. Add Van Dyke Brown Glaze in corners and edges, wipe off where needed, let dry 6. Sand to desired effect 7. Seal if necessary Bonus Effect - Gray Granite Bonus Effect Gray Granite 1. Paint Surface with Snow White Milk Paint 2. Mix extender/accelerator into Seagull Gray Milk Paint to make a watery mix 3. Paint on entire surface 4. Add a few small touches of Lamp Black watery mix to add variation 5. Apply plastic grocery bag to entire surface, tamp down with fingers 6. Pull off 7. Crush up another grocery bag and tap on and off where needed to lighten 8. With toothbrush or chip brush flick spots on piece lightly 9. Paint on one coat of Champagne Pearl Effects 10. Seal if necessary 4

6 Bonus Effect - Faux Zinc Metal Bonus Effect Faux Zinc Metal 1. Paint two coats of 50/50 mix Argentine Pearl & Bronze Pearl Effects let dry 2. Paint Black Pepper CSP w/ Extender or Accelerator in watery coat about 50/50 in sections 3. With Crumpled paper towel dab in sections to achieve the look you want 4. Also can add water spots with spray bottle allow to set in then blot dry 5. Add daubs of argentine / bronze pearl mix along with watery black pepper mix, spray with water bottle dab with paper towel where needed allow to dry 6. Seal if necessary Bonus Effect - Carrara Marble MP Painted Marble Real Carrara Marble Bonus Effect Marble 1. Paint Snow White MP let dry 2. With a feather or ragged ripped cardboard edge add vein lines in a shaky motion of Driftwood or Seagull Gray with touches of Lamp Black, it helps to have a picture of the Carrera Marble piece you are trying to emulate. 3. With a spray bottle of water, spray along the vein line allow to dry 4. With a watery mix of winter white glaze and extender/accelerator paint over whole piece allow to dry 5. Seal if necessary 5

7 Bonus Effect - Lake Door Bonus Effect Lake Door 1. Paint 50/50 mixture Klein Blue/Patina Green MP over whole piece let dry 2. Dry brush randomly Klein Blue, Halcyon Blue, Emerald MP. 3. Seal if necessary Bonus Effect - 3d Look Bonus Effect 3d Look 1. Paint Midnight Blue CSP over whole piece let dry 3. Van Dyke Brown Glaze in corners wipe off where needed 2. Dry brush on high points and middle Winter White glaze 3. Seal if necessary 6
