Lightly sand ware to removee any blemishes. With Paper Towel brush off any dust. 2. Place Really White on Palette. 3. To the front side of plate pounce sponge three coats of Really White. Allow the Really White to dry slightly between coats. 4. Using providedd pattern and clay carbon, with Red Pencil trace the design onto the ware. 5. To complete the petal, the colors are applied in a stippling motion with the darker color tone to the centers and along one side of the petal. Begin by picking up the lightest color and pounce stipple over the entire petal. While color is still wet pick up the light color and then pick up the next darker tone. Begin to stipple this over the first color blending along one edge. Keep working the colors together until desired effect is achieved. Repeat again with a still darker tone. You should see the stippled marks. White and yellow are used for softening the very vibrant colors if needed.

3 6. Complete petals with the following Concept Colors: a. Pinkish with hint of purple Light Wine, Darkk Wine, Bright Purple b. Yellow Orange Bright Straw, Neon Orange, Really Red c. Red Orange Neon Orange, Really Red d. Aqua Light Blue Spruce, Bright Caribbean, Dark Caribbean e. True Blue Light Delft, Bright Delft, Dark Delft f. Greens Bright Straw, Light Kiwi, Bright Kiwi, Dark Kelp, Dark Delft. Fully load #1 Liner with Light Kiwi, Bright Kiwi and Dark Kelp and pull in the stems. Use slight pressuree on the liner and a fairly heavy stem is pulled in. 8. Leaves are applied in the same stippling manner as used with the petals. With #2 Round or #4 Round pat blend in a combination of Bright Straw and Light Kiwi over the leaves. One to two coats are needed. To one side of each leaf pounce and stipple in Bright Kiwi and Dark Kelp. Be sure to blend the colors. Again, two coats of color. 9. To add interest to the leaves pounce in shading colorss to the lighter side of each leaf. Add Neon Orange and Really Red to some, to others addd Bright Caribbean and more yellow to others. Make sure all colors are soft and blended in their application. 10. Centers are stipple blendedd in place. Use Dark Ginger with two pounced coats; shade the lower edge of center with Dark Briarwood. To the top of center blend in some Neon Orange. Be sure to cover the inner edgee of petal slightly. 11. While colors are drying fill the.05 piping bottle with Dark Black. Do not thin. 12. Shake the bottle downward toward the tip, thus pushing any air in the bottle to back of bottle, when tip is down. 13. Following the pattern, detail the piece with wild helter-skelter before applying color. Do not squeeze bottle too outlining using the filled piping bottle. Be sure to shake bottle downward hard and remember the faster you work the thinner the line. The detail should be very irregular. Add fine dots around the centers, and be sure to pull outt veins in the petals and side veins in the leaves. Accent the stems with a zigzag line down their entire length. Use photo as a guide for style of outlining. 14. Sign the piece with Dark Black using #1 Liner. 15. After the piecee has dried. Apply two to three coats of Pure Brilliance over the entire plate, front and back. Allow to set between coats. 16. Stilt ware and fire to shelf cone Remove stilts marks with Stilt Stone or Dremel Tool.
