1 Post Point Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Owner: Engineer: GC/CM: City of Bellingham Carollo Engineers Mortenson Construction ADDENDUM NO. 01 THIS ADDENDUM MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED ON THE BID PACKAGE BID FORM FOR BID PACKAGE 114 This addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original bidding documents only to the extent specifically shown and noted below. All other conditions shall remain the same. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject the Bidder to disqualification. BP 114 MECHANICAL SYSTEMS: 1. A Pre-Bid Walk was held on July 18, The agenda and sign-in sheets are included in this Addendum as an attachment. 2. Bid Date and Time for Bid Package 114 as listed in INVITATION TO BID shall change to August 09, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Location to remain the same. 3. Add the following paragraph to SUMMARY OF WORK, 2.04 Specific Exclusions: E. Furnish, Excavate, Install and Test Underslab Piping at Activated Sludge Basin #1, Activated Sludge Basin #2 and Secondary Clarifier #4, including associated thimbles and drains, as highlighted in Addendum #1 Underslab Piping Scope Drawings Revise the following paragraphs in INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, 0.11 Bidder Responsibility and Bid Responsiveness, D Supplemental Bidder Responsibility Criteria, 1. Criteria as follows (changes are italicized): ii. During the year 2002 or more recently, the Bidder shall have successfully completed through substantial completion at least three projects with at total mechanical subcontract value or General Contractor value (if Bidder was acting as General Contractor) of at least $8,000,000 performing work in an industrial/municipal facility that remained in operation during the construction period. iii. During the year 2002 or more recently, Bidder shall have successfully completed through substantial completion at least one project with a total mechanical subcontract cost of at least $2,000,000 performing work at a wastewater treatment facility or water treatment facility. v. During the year 2006 or more recently, Bidder or outside source to be hired by Bidder shall have used Building Information Modeling (BIM) for coordination purposes on at least three projects. 5. Drawings 030-Y-106 and 310-M-102 were not printed correctly in the Conformed Documents. Replace drawings 030-Y-106 and 310-M-102 with the corresponding drawings attached in this Addendum.
