Failure by any proposer to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in its proposal shall be grounds for disqualification of its proposal. NOTICE TO BIDDERS: The Bid Documents of the above project are hereby amended as follows: Modified Add or Replaced With Description I. BID DOCUME None II. Note, the descriptions in the table above give a general understanding and location of the change, it is the Contractor s responsibility to review the changes in this addendum and incorporate as needed in their bid package. IV. RESPONSES TO BIDDER S QUESTIONS Question#1: Detail 4/ is asking for fabrication of compactor cover and side plate. We didn t see the waste compactor in Agat Transfer Station. Where is this located? Please provide material type, thickness, welding requirement, and other data to perform the fabrication. Response: The compactor units will be placed within the Residential Trash areas shown on the plans. The units will be Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) and will be delivered to the site by the Owner and off loaded and placed by the Contractor. The additional cover and back plate shall be provided by the Contractor in accordance with the revised detail shown on sheets for each project. Note, the compactor unit will be the same or similar as the existing units at the Harmon Residential Transfer Station on Industrial Park Road, behind the Guam Solid Waste Tamuning, Guam 9691

However, the Contractor will be provided the exact model and dimensional information for fabricating the covers as soon as GSWA order them. Question#2: Referring to Dededo Residential Transfer Station Closure plan sheet C101, please specify each individual trees to be removed in the Demolition Plan. Response: C101 includes Note, which states Remove vegetation and trees as necessary that is unavoidable in the demolition and removal of existing structures and the grading work to restore existing grades Question#: Referring to Agat Residential Transfer Station plan sheets C111 and C505, please indicate on the Site Piping Plan the locations of the fire hydrants.
